at this rate there will be no more physical copies of game i store. the gaming world is trying to move to digitals games. its so sad that it as to come to this. you got some good deals.
In the US, at least from what ive seen, Walmart, Target and Best Buy have all reduced their physical games. Although, Walmart's sections are still larger.
I always find it funny when people actually get triggered by other people re-selling games that would just sit on rich people's shelves as trophies anyway. "Why'd you sell it and make money off it? It would've looked great on a shelf in my basement!" but then unless it's $5 they wouldn't buy it. It's that greed that drives them to collect, cause it feels like a win when they kinda screw somebody out of it for next to nothing, but then they get triggered when a reseller finds it first and sells it for what it's worth, , it's kinda disgusting... I am/was subbed to a few game chasing channels that are not ashamed to complain about this, and it brings a smile to my face every time they mention it and manage to piss themselves off by it.
It’s a weird backwards mentality. The amount of time and work that goes into reselling (especially part-time like me) isn’t really worth it. What’s cool is selling a few golf clubs and a t-shirt and using the profit for retro games!
man I wish my local walmart had that...Ive heard tho xbox is going full digital so they are going first. Ps5 section is still decent and switch is good
@@SaturdayMorningGamer A walmart employee on another video all but confirmed this. He said they will have the digital cards they sell and no more physical xbox. You can tell due to the lack of games in the xbox section
We've been noticing the steady decrease too. Awesome though that you were able to find some deals. I swear I saw a copy of that PS5 game at Parlour 😂😂😂

Being a fellow Canadian I heard that they are getting rid of physical media at Walmart's and best buys do some government thing I can't remember I over heard it but didn't get a chance to listen .carefully was walking by. I like having physical media myself its nice to have it and when you are done with it you can re sell it afterwards for a bit of cash

In the uk, only supermarkets have physical games for sale and only really new releases. And usually only the big games. The only other chain store Game was sold to a sport retailer and they're all been moved to tiny sections inside these shops, again maybe a few shelf and only new game. You either have to go to independent game store or CEX which is a second hand retailer you can trade stuff in for cash or voucher. They do have alot and deal in retro too, but you end up ordering from the app to get those rarer titles. Only other places are smyths, which is a toy chain or online like amazon or ebay. It's sad but physical locations just cost too much to run for most business now. Game closed cos their price were too high and trade in was terrible. So cex took over the market.
Yeah, that was my experience in Oxford when I visited a few years ago. I actually have a game hunting video from when I was there! It’s certainly not easy to hunt in the wild for retro games, but I managed to find a few!☺️

I went to walmart and looked at the xbox games it was cut to half with empty to i think three rows or so like you said kinda sad.
