I'm about 12 years older than her...as are my youngest kids that are still home. My 17yo son, my baby...still wants to talk to me b4 going to sleep. He is about to be a senior in high school & works full time in the summer as a Supervisor at our local Amusement Park. He works late, needless to say, I'm asleep when he gets home...but I always tell him he can wake me up. Often I do hear him come in at midnight...& he comes in my room & just talks with me about his day. I love that ❤. I hope I have at least a few more years of this 😊

These are fun to watch :) You are truly fortunate to have so much support at home! Hubby and I both work outside the home but with his schedule and long hours I’m typically left with many of the home stuff as well. This is a wonderful routine.

I pray that you will be able to find a time to read this, despite how long it is. It’s a lot to read, but I really think it will bless you.
I have been in the process of overcoming the absolutely life shattering effects of a period of intense trauma that I went through several years ago. When I say “shatter” I truly mean that. It shattered me. I stopped taking care of myself, I stopped taking care of my home, I stopped cooking and cleaning, and Crafting , which was one of my biggest passions. Everything stopped. I didn’t even notice dirt in my home anymore. It was all about survival, emotional and physical. I ate takeout and convenience foods on paper plates, and I lost my self in various forms of “distraction”… Just trying to push away all the negativity, depression and destruction that persisted long after the situation was resolved.
Prior to that period of my life, I had been a highly active, very social person who took pride in her home, who loved to organize and decorate, and who made a comfortable living as a critical care nurse. By the time it was over, I was unemployed, overweight, addicted to various substances depressed and hopeless. Despite how horrible that all sounds, can honestly say that I wouldn’t trade what I went through for the world because I had been an atheist prior to the period of trauma and it was because of that trauma that I discovered that God is real and developed a relationship with Jesus that was absolutely revolutionizing. That happened in 2015 and I can tell you that, knowing him is worth any suffering I had to go through to get to him.
I’m sorry this is so long. The reason I’m commenting is because, although God is amazing, healing is definitely a process and even with God in my life I have still found healing to take longer than I thought it would. And one day I stopped and took a look around my once beautiful home, and felt so ashamed! To say that my home was downright filthy is no exaggeration. And I truly hadn’t even noticed it. I was just trying to get my mind in my heart healed to the point where I wanted to get up in the morning, to the point where I had hope for any kind of a future. And it was almost like my brain just couldn’t attend to anything else. This period of trauma endured for almost a decade, and it showed in my surroundings. I hesitate to admit this, but in the interest of full disclosure, when I started trying to cook for myself again I couldn’t even find half of my pots and pans that I used to use. I didn’t know where my recipe book was, and I also realized that I needed to start eating healthier than I had been back then and I didn’t even know where to begin. All of my spices were expired. My cabinets were full of expired food… Stupid things made me anxious. It was a victory for me just to cook myself a simple meal during this time of healing. It felt so overwhelming. I can’t even find the words to convey How overwhelming it was. I was standing alone in a house where I had once lived with a spouse and my child and now I was 57 years old, living alone for the first time in my life, trying to find the courage to get back to work as a nurse, and to cook myself a simple meal.
After I overcame those challenges, then I started wanting to clean the place up and cleansing of everything that happened here. All of the physical damage, and the psychological and spiritual energy that had become so dark. I am embarrassed to say that it has been eight years since I was delivered from, the situation that caused all of this and eight years since I found Jesus and yet only now am I getting to the point where I feel strong enough to start tackling projects. And I want to tell you some thing that I hope you read because I realize this is a very long message And I wouldn’t blame you for skipping over it.
You and your lovely family have made such a difference in my life Tiffany. In so many ways, I almost can’t count. Not only do you motivate me to get up and clean when all I want to do is lay on the couch, not only do you give me awesome ideas for how to get my life organized again, but you’re also giving me amazing ideas for eating healthy And cooking for myself again. I was resisting getting on the healthy bandwagon for the longest time because I equated healthy food with tasteless food but you make it all look so delicious. I started saving your meal prep and recipe videos and started copying down your recipes. I haven’t made any of them yet, because like I said, I just found you not that long ago, and I am back to work full-time now… As a Correction‘s nurse lol! I actually love it. But I fully intend to start using those videos as a way to develop a healthier lifestyle and start planning nourishing meals for myself.
And it’s not just all of the inspiration either. It’s your transparency and authenticity that just comes right through the TV screen. It’s your beautiful babies and your loving relationship with your husband… When I tune in, I almost feel like I’m visiting my family. like I’m visiting my daughter and grandchildren. This has been invaluable at a time in my life when feeling connected to family is so important. I have several close friends that I love dearly but just watching how you raise. Your family is so inspiring and comforting somehow. You also remind me very much of myself when I was your age. You even live in the state that I grew up in although I live outside of Boston now.
I just wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you do. And also being a nurse myself, I give you credit for any amount of time that you spent working in the NICU. That takes one incredibly intelligent and special human being and now you have transferred all of that wisdom and energy into raising your family and you are doing an amazing job. Not just with your own family, but you are changing lives with your RUclips channel. Don’t underestimate the impact that you are having on your fellow humans Tiffiny. That is the most important part. You are changing lives. You are playing a role in resurrecting lives. You are giving people hope and inspiration and motivation.
As for me personally, I cannot thank you enough. From the bottom of my heart. God bless you and your beautiful family. And please know that He is so proud of you, for what you are doing for your family and for the rest of His children. ❤

I live for babies knowing the basic is before starting school. They are about to start a whole new journey in life. Peer pressure, new attitudes, other’s personalities, and anxiety of something new.
I think it is irresponsible of the parents not to take some of the stress off by teaching them the basics.
Also, it melted my heart when she was reading to her daddy.
My 4yo does the same thing to my husband and it melts me.

@@BeautyTheBeastons thank you! I am battling chronic inflammation, gallbladder issues but I don’t wanna have surgery, food allergies I found out as an adult that I have and I am always so exhausted! To add to all that I’m having corrective chiropractic care because the top and base of my spine are curving incorrectly ugh!
I totally understand. 11 years ago I was 24 with an 8 month old and 4 year old. I had to have another open heart surgery. I couldn't turn with my kids uneltil after surgery.
Yep, i don't remember drinking pure water as a kid either... Actually i think that i consciously started drinking water (carrying a water bottle around) when i was around 20 years old! 🤷♀ 😂

I don't like cilantro! I have tried and tried! I would fix certain things for them to eat, then as they got older, the grocery bill climbed! I so enjoyed reading to them, I held a 3 year old and a newborn and eventually they read to me!! Enjoy them at this age!

Oh Tiff, I have 3 teenage boys. 19, 15 & 14. I have always made it a point to talk with them. When my oldest learned how to drive, we ended up taking very long drives and just talking for quite a few hours. We did it yesterday as it was the 1year since my husband, their dad was sever hurt on the job and he is still in the hospital and I wish someone could tell me what to do right now. Do I sign a DNR and we 4 get on with our lives or do I wait for him to see if he actually gets better. I just don’t know right now. Oh well I guess.
