She's an alcoholic and sanitizer has alcohol. She asked for water to wash it down. Her head is tattooed like she's been on the street for a while with a half-shaved head. Her body is filthy and she doesn't mind walking barefoot. The black eye is proof she's abused as well.

Lived in Atlanta, Baton Rouge, and Miami. As a white dude, I learned very quickly I have no business being at Walmart or gas stations after 6pm.

When I took my husband onto the Rez I told him to stay indoors after dark, that he might not be white to white people, but he definitely ain't native, and if he's brave enough to walk around, he's more than likely gonna get shot...
He thought I was joking....😂 figured since he's from the middle East he's seen everything...until he realized he hasn't...the Rez isn't a safe place. I seen hatchet fights where people loose an eye or limb, chainsaw chain fights that led to death, severed limbs, sword fights that took a shoulder and arm, beer bottle fights - neck cut from ear to ear, brains on the sidewalk, and worse, all before my 8th birthday...even saw my own dad get shot with a double barrel pistol grip shotgun ( both barrels at four feet) hospitalized him for almost three years...
I couldn't imagine what an American ghetto is like after dark...😮

I was going to say give people props for working, I literally walked into a gas station here in North Carolina (I’m from AZ and this has been interesting) the clerk was asleep on the counter I had to wake him up and he acted upset I woke him up, I can’t believe what we are living in sometimes. Long story short anyone giving effort and not out on the streets getting money illegally or being a mooch off our and their tax dollars, I have respect for I don’t care if you clean toilets (I have cleaned toilets for a job before) no shame!

Really?! That's not his job to take care of the needy that the company store manager/owner hired him for. That's why there's shelters, food pantries, churches, etc. You can't give your company merchandise out for free. You can get fired from your job and will be on the streets doing the same thing.

The sanitizer has alcohol in it. Most brands use ethyl alcohol (what's in booze) so if it's accidentally ingested it won't kill someone. So street trash sometimes drink it.

When I worked at hospitals people would drink rubbing alcohol or aftershave stuff because they were alcoholics or trying to catch a buzz and they would end up dying. It's really sad what addictions do to people's brains and bodies.

I work at a hospital and a guy I went to school with kept coming in stealing the hand sanitizer and drinking it, I came in one morning and found him dead in the front yard of the hospital with a can of the hand sanitizer.

The sanitizer is nasty but remember it has alcohol content. She literally did that to have a shot. I used to work at a CVS and we had a lady that would come in almost every day for a month buying a bottle of listerine. We didn't realize what was going on until one day I was outside smoking a cigarette and saw her start to chug it in the parking lot and after that we banned her.
Rehabs don’t let you have hand sanitizer or mouthwash for that very reason. A real alcoholic is going to drink that stuff.

That's what I was thinking. I've seen a special about alcoholics, and one lady drank the listerine when the family wouldn't go buy her liquor.
I was temporarily.working in Calgary about 10 years ago and rented a nice brand new high rise condo near the C-Train I took to work every day. I had to cross a pedestrian bridge over a busy road to get to the station which was at the Stampede grounds. Every morning I would wade through about 4 or 5 new empty Listerine bottles. And the train station was another story. One time I saw 2 legs sticking out a big garbage can and thought the guy was dead until I saw he was sleeping with his ass in the bottom of the can and legs sticking out. He stirred and got up and left. Another time I get on the train at 6 am and there’s 2 drunk Indian guys with a keg of beer! They asked me if I happened to have a spare tap on me! 🤣 Another time the woman talking on her cell ahead of me had a guy grab it right out of her hand and run out the train with it at the next stop never to be seen again. Another time there were guys smoking crack on the stairs on my way up to the station. And many times when I got home there were people all around drinking right out wine and liquor bottles without bothering with the brown bag. Nice condo, but horrific area. I was glad to get out of there and I haven’t used hardly any public transit since, thankfully!

He is not lieing about cats and they share information between eachother. A few months ago a grey cat showed up on our property. Aftera week of us feeding him daily, he brought his black lady friend and 2weeks later they brought their tabby male friend. They nvr left and live on our property. Who ever dumped them, their loss our gain. Even our indoor cats have actually befriended the outside cats. Its a beautiful friendship. Sorry about the rant, had to share. Have a beautiful day everyone!

Wow. Maybe this is true. My housecat Sherbet became a streetcat when I met my love interest years ago. My beau would let him out of my apartment. Anyway, a couple of times he would bring a stray cat over and wine to me and my boyfriend. It really felt like he was pleading for us to let his friend stay over. Another time, my cat acted as if my boyfriend and I were annoying parents. We were sitting on the balcony one night and saw him hanging with a female cat. We called his name and he turned ,looked at us and then looked back at his little cat friend. No he didn't act like he didn't know us. Lol!!

I worked in The Hood in Chicago's South Side, everyone did their shopping during the day! Only places open at night were Rib joints or liquor stores with bullet proff glass. You paid 1st and got your items through a bullet proof box! The neighborhood was no place to be after dark
I used to drive an armored car down there several nights a week. The armored trucks would go and collect money all day and drop it off at a depot in Schaumburg and then myself and a guy named Jimmy would take a huge armored car down to the south side to a place where we dropped money and then picked up bags of money and boxes of coins and drive back up to Schaumburg. Bro, it was like a whole different world. We’d get off the highway and there’d be people out, all over well after dark. On Fridays it was like a party in the streets, people everywhere carrying on. It was wild. Back home where I lived everyone would be in bed. It’s truly was a different world.
Okay, it doesn't matter if you're from the south side of Chicago or South Dakota normal people do their shopping in normal business hour times. The south side of Chicago in the hood don't have grocery stores. The very few corner stores that were left was the grocery stores and now the gas stations are the neighborhood food mart/fast food restaurant/convenient store/clothing store/liquor store/cellular store.

I live in Valencia California (one of the rare quiet and calm California communities for the most part) and even here, everyone can assure you: do not go to gas stations, liquor stores or convenience stores after dark. Not unless you want to see things that cannot be unseen.

I lived right outside of Santa Clarita (Castaic) about two decades ago, went to Valencia HS for a couple of years. Before that, I had always lived in less than stellar parts of the San Fernando Valley, so Valencia was a pretty major culture shock.
But yea, SCV was always bougie as hell. I was Valley poor, so it really felt like everyone else's families must've been millionaires. Even Newhall was way better than what I knew growing up, and the rich kids in SCV swore that was ghetto just because that's where their 🔌 lived. 😂
If SCV is truly all that bad now, then California is truly screwed. Glad I got out long ago!

Having worked overnights at a gas station, you learn who your problem crazies are and who you can manage. If you give the wrong ones an inch, they take a mile and take offense if you don't let them pull the same bs again. Better to be dismissive than to set a precedent that you'll pay for later.

I’ve worked overnight at a gas station before and it’s my favorite job I’ve ever had. There’s really no need to be rude to the cashier. He didn’t do anything wrong here and even if he has no ambition (which we can’t know because we don’t know him), who cares? Some people just want to live their life. Not everyone needs to be an entrepreneur.
I could understand the employee getting a fresh cup & telling the people that management policy is that the clerks need to get the water for them, that's what I'd say & get it for them .

Its a ghetto plus if the employee is not enforcing then they can walk right in. As a teenager I didn't care if people had pets or dressed like those people sure someone else working might tell them to leave but I didn't get paid enough to care plus I like animals and a few customers let me hold their pets while they shopped. The company I worked for the people in charge were horrible people, so I didn't give a F what happened to their business.
Those people dress crazy and out of it already have enough problems likely get shunned kicked out of most places so working at a crappy place seemed like the only place they can get their shopping done if everyone turn them down how are they supposed to get the things they need
