That was AWESOME!! I am not a plumber but I'm a gadget-guy and always appreciate a good tool/equipment store. Great buy Ollie! Like to do more of that if the opportunity presents itself again. Thumbs up to Jetter's Edge for helping Ollie and showcasing their equipment. Thank you for sharing Ollie. Great content as expected. 👍👍
That was an extremely interesting plumbing shop; so many new items and so many I’ve seen you use. That drain looked like a moss and lichen forest. Got the DA seal of approval. 💚💚
A lot of RUclipsr's get companies to sponsor their video or channel. They pay you to put their products in your videos. You should negotiate a deal with these guys...you seem to have a gr8 relationship with them. Get the money Ollie $$😉
I think he is an employee of that DrainGo company. if he is, he likely just goes to that store and gets what he needs with a company credit card or through an open account. Setting up a deal with an employee to sponsor parts for them, and only them, because he's the only one working there that makes videos showing their products, could get messy. If he owns the company, then that would be another story, and easily done.
When you use the link in the description under the video it has his 'name' attached to the end of it. So he does get some credit for bringing people over to the stores website. Does he get a discount for 'trade'? Probably, as he does a fair bit of marketing their brand. If not? That's not our concern now is it. It's decent video content and as one can see with the walk 'round the shop, this stuff isn't cheap for a reason. Cheap= limited functionality and limited results. I can see where this rotary cutter tool has many uses where you do not want to make a huge mess in someones property. It's a good alternative. Some people swear by jetting only, and some swear by snaking only. The smart people that earn the $$? Are the ones that are skilled at both and can get the job done quickly and effectively. It's a good tool for the "utility belt". Have a super day!
That was an awesome buy. I can't wait to see it used again in future videos. Also, nice tour of the tool store. Lastly, smart move using the camera and this together. Makes it easy to spot tangles and such so you don't end up with any issues getting the chain out. Plus indoor jobs like this are cleaner 😊
Nice tool to be adding to your arsenal, DA. For certain jobs, this tool looks like it will save you time as opposed to jetting. More money, more money! Best channel on RUclips. Cheers from Florida.
@@JonnyRicter We use metric for most things but imperial for others. Those tools like "rigid" is made in the US so the fittings are US imperial. A lot of pipe threads for plumbing is still imperial usually British imperial as well as hoses. British and US imperial pipe threads and fittings are different so it can get complicated. So basically we have British imperial, US imperial and metric. Car tyres will still call imperial. Most builders will cut and measure in metric, most other things are metric. You really need to know them all.
Keep up the great work mate. Your videos are compelling viewing every time. I must have watched nearly all of them now, even my 17 year old nice is a fellow addict! Love the visit to the wholesaler, pricey kit for sure. Also enjoy the jet wash lift you give to some of your clients. All good! UK fan.
I may have watched 50 or better of your videos. Subscribed at 30 probably. And I will still continue to get my plumbing declog tips from you man. Your the best drain cleaner on planet existence. 😊👊😀
Poor Ratty, didn't get to go shopping with you. LOL I have two cousins who worked at the Ridgid plant in Elyria Oh, one was pretty high up, they made the pipe wrenches and the pipe threading machines, I used to get all the awesome Ridgid calendars every year, they had some NICE calendars!!!
The rigid is pretty good paired with a camera. Perfect for toilets where bringing 50 gallons of water erupting out of the hole would leave very dissatisfied customers 👍
I recently bought one of those. It works great up to 70 feet. And you can video the whole time with your camera in the line. You need to be running water at the same time and work backwards as much as possible.
be careful with them chain whips, they get all them roots and paper tangled up and makes it hard to get the chain head back out of the lines if there are several fittings or like here, a small entry hole !!
Our toys r us , I liked that baseball base to cover the drain & the sign never seen it here in the US thanks for sharing , not sure about the flex shaft
Oh my gosh, I have a great idea! You can make a little outfit for ratty, the same that you wear in your videos! Now how cute would that be?! Oh and a hat of course!
I'm no expert. However, I think if the flex shaft had a water jet somehow attached through it, it would make an even a better job. What do you think about that, Ollie ?
Blimey! The chain thingy looked like some sort of medieval torture device! I reckon you could get a confession in seconds if you placed that … well … somewhere!
Can I just say as a female who has nothing whatsoever to do with plumbing, I would love to go to Jetters Edge and have a chat with Glen and Dani about all the stuff there. I’m really intrigued by it, I’m a total info nerd and go down ridiculous rabbit holes.
that lady behind the counter was VERY beautiful !! that chain bit on the flex shaft is CRAZY, but gets the job done sure enough !! where was Ratty ? was he on holiday again or did he take the day off ??
It must have been so much harder to figure out blockages before technology made it possible to stick a small camera down a pipe. Bet there was a whole lot of extra digging to get to mystery blockages.
I like that JetEx turbo nozzle you used in the one video to clear out to the stream for a storm drain. I don't think they make quite as nice stuff for the US market as they do in Australia. Too bad the British and Americans couldn't come together for pipe thread standards. They both use inches, and they're only 1 thread per inch off, and the angle of each "tooth" of thread is slightly different. It's not like BSP is metric. I'd like to actually buy one of those nozzles. Just to screw around with or use at work to clear pipes.
Considering the time and money involved in calling a pro, I was wondering at what point it would make sense for the average homeowner to buy this equipment. At those prices, though, you'd have to have a lot of stoppages before you break even on the money.
this is where batman gets his gear at
He'd have to be Bruce Wayne with those prices!!
As long as this new toy doesn ´t mean the end of the beloved Double-Barrel I ´m okay with it.
The DB isn’t going nowhere 👍
Drain Addict That ´s good news.
Going nowhere... except down the drain!
He broke it lol
The Double Barrel should be kept in a velvet lined English Walnut case at all times

Hmmmm, didn’t see a “Rati” selection at Jetters Edge!!!
🙄
He's for sale at Rat Shit Edge shop.
Ratti has a day of. He went to a big Rat-festival. Lots of corn there.
i think the rati section is at the Corn shop.
[PREMIER]@zsigmondarpad[👍]
"Not a blocked drain."
Is a blocked drain.
Had me worried.
The store walkthrough was so great I had to watch i twice! I want those tools because... I like tools...
That was an extremely interesting plumbing shop; so many new items and so many I’ve seen you use. That drain looked like a moss and lichen forest. Got the DA seal of approval. 💚💚
Fascinating shop, thanks to the staff in the shop for letting us see it!
Oh wow, that looks like a fun place! Too bad they don't have one like this stateside. Thank you for the tour and showing the tools of the trade!
Don't forget to give this guy a thumbs up people
You were like a kid in a toys shop when you were in the shop !!!!
And a most informative video !
Greetings from Beaminster Dorset UK
Great customer service from that gentleman!
Groovy new toys, always welcome to join the tool box.
That's a good friend when he still shakes your hand knowing where your hand has been or a determined salesman.

@@timramich Ollie *IS* the DrainGo company. He is Oliver Parker, and he has a Dun & Bradstreet listing.
@@Toobula Yes. Settle. Why are people so defensive here?
Sure Ollie helped to sell some jetters there .... the best salesman you can have.
Ratty and "Ratty merch" should be featured and available from the "Jetters Edge".

Holy hell that place is EXPENSIVE!!!
$89 for a 5 gal plastic barrel, $1400 for a locator, $8000+ for a pump, $172 for the grease stuff.
Shakes hands and slips him a piece of corn...
😂
Aww!! Ollie got a new toy to play with. Only thing missing is Rati. Must be his day off. lol Great work, Ollie, and have a blast of a day!!
Fascinating how plumbing things are measured in a mix of metric and imperial.
elflikek I agree. It seems all the diameters are in inches and lengths in meters. Lol
It's like Australia couldn't make up its mind which system to use.
SittingMoose Shaman so true, they're just two different roads that will get you to the same destination.

Hey...variety is the spice of life! Happy folks at Jetters Edge ... hello from Texas! 👍👍❤ #DrainAddict winning
A new video! It's like little Christmas! Definitely thumbs up.
edit: Good lord that equipment costs quite a bit!

Thanks for the walk through! Ratty missed out!😎😎
That’s a great tool there. Way less mess indoors. Think that would be my go to indoor machine!!

Pretty good tool. If anyone is serious about drain cleaning, this is another tool for their arsenal!! Great video!!
I recently bought one of those. It works great up to 70 feet. And you can video the whole time with your camera in the line. You need to be running water at the same time and work backwards as much as possible.
Nice tool would have loved to have it back when I did building maintenance
Seems to work good. It's less of a mess than cleaning up from jetting.
That's super cool! Look forward to seeing it rip those roots apart!!!!
be careful with them chain whips, they get all them roots and paper tangled up and makes it hard to get the chain head back out of the lines if there are several fittings or like here, a small entry hole !!
I love treating myself to new tools as well. Nothing like a good Snap-on or Mac. Just never replace Ratty.
Great work as always, cheers from Texas.
Our toys r us , I liked that baseball base to cover the drain & the sign never seen it here in the US thanks for sharing , not sure about the flex shaft
Seems like your root cutter jet nozzle, though makes a bit of a mess, does a better job at cutting the roots.
Oliver, thanks for the tour of your trade. Interesting new tool but I missing the volcano of ßhit, wipes, and native vegetables.
Oh my gosh, I have a great idea! You can make a little outfit for ratty, the same that you wear in your videos! Now how cute would that be?! Oh and a hat of course!
Oh fuck I want that Rigid Flex Shaft at 7:30 damn that looks like a nice thing for your general "hands on" homeowner.
Danni is gorgeous. 👍😁👍 I hope I spelt her name right.

wow that tool, That is going to be really fun to see in the future, where you can't exactly make a big mess. All Good!!!
Cool machines!
Wow Ollie 10k for a new jetter i was shocked when i saw the prices.
I love that there is a store like the Jetter's Edge. I'd spend time and money there!
Great job again like always

laparoscopic surgery. Thanks doctor. My sphincter is sore though.
Anything that makes the job easier will always be a winner....
Jetty!! Jetty!! Jetty!!
Corn!! Corn!! Corn!!
I didn't see any helper rats for sale at Jetters Edge.
You're turning yourself into freaking James Cameron Ollie. 👍🏼😉
Just ask for the Drain Addict package! I see Ratty has the day off.
I have the same Makita drill and impact driver set at work that you have!
I'm no expert. However, I think if the flex shaft had a water jet somehow attached through it, it would make an even a better job.

Note to self, keep the batteries charged!

Welcome to the dark side with flexshaft. Remember now you have one, you will never go back to cables.
I certainly hope this doesn't mean you're retiring the DOUBLE BARREL!!! That store was super nice, but they need some of Ratty's friends in there.

Wonderful selection of Jetting Equipment....do big city areas get licenced?
Too many drainees may spoil the value of doing that great service to man.
I’m excited to see you add this new weapon to your arsenal! I look forward to seeing it in action in the future!
Buy a new DOUBLE BARREL!!!!! Wow, that spinning deal is AWESOME!!
SO I guess Ratty seen this and was Like So Not coming to work with That BLOODY Thing..
You need to adjust the sheath closer to the chain head. That’s why it looped back on you.

Has "The Axe" jet met it's match? Find out on the next episode of Drain Addict!!
So Ollie is a jet setter!
