How do you get run8 to run well. I downloaded run 8 expecting it to run well because of the bad graphics, but it runs terrible. Do you think it’s because of the ram? How much ram do you need?
The way I started way back when, was completely different than how they do it now. I had to take a test then go to a school for 6 weeks before getting hired.
@@spurgaming5400 I hired on with CSX at the tail end of 2022 for Parsons yard in OH, they only had us in training for 3 weeks and we had 2 days away because Christmas was around that time, we still had the outside physical tests for a week but majority of it was inside going over the entire rulebook, now they must be either really relaxed and desperate for people because im completely blind in my left eye and they still hired me on and they were fully aware of it, sadly it'd be the same reason why i got let go after only 3 months of working there.
On the SP Roseville to Sparks Nevada at night, it was 4-6 deer injured or outright killed. Road crews in the early morning would collect and take home.
Nothing like some chill Run 8 to unwind at the end of the day
Kerbo! How have you been friend?
@@spurgaming5400 Busy but otherwise just peachy. Hope you're well
Good one! I too have noticed that after a few updates ago, you have to be really close to "climb on".
Thats what I was thinking! I didn't remember having to be right up on it to board.
I really hope you go back and finish the auto train with the big power!!
I love the fact that you can kick cars. Love the long videos of run 8 ops man!
Louisville, KY? Was that run to the Ford Truck Plant?

What qualifications are required to get started as a train conductor the way you started?

How many cows or deer did you hit per year on average?
Cows were rare, deer were all the time (more than I could keep count of), dogs fairly common and never any cats.
