Thermal cam can be accessed in first person. It works well when the room is pitch black or steamed over. Yes getting Responding, On Scene etc to activate right is a bear. It should just activate once it is pressed after accepting the call. I think the code for it needs work, but probably not going to happen.

Truck skins (aside from Hazmat) can be customized (I love making my own skins and have several), names on coats has a bug that is still being troubleshooted and is disabled. You can customize the coats and helmets though I think that's also bugged and disabled. All templates for reskinning trucks in on the ITF Discord (there is a specific room they designate d for them, and yes it includes all current DLCs). I never liked the green fart fume that was created for the hazmat call. That's too comic book for my liking. Hazmat is far greater than removing barrels, and it's too bad that it's kind of overlooked. I think whenever ITF2 comes out (ITF is already 6 years old) Cory will have vastly improved his game. ITF Working Alarm (focuses on VR) is the test bed for the new functionality for ITF2.

I really want to start getting into this sim, but Run8Studios website has no proper shopping cart so you have to buy things one at a time. Secondly the website is so outdated and looks straight out out of 2005 (I know I used to build websites). There isn't even a proper way to contact the company to let them know my concerns. This is probably a major reason why the game isn't as known as say Sim Rail or Railroader. Sucks for sure, because this is an epic Sim. As I heard TheLazyFarmer say, "it's like model railroading." So how did you personally muddle through the confusion of their site when you first started with the sim?

LSPDFR gets boring after a while (well it did for me), and I say that from playing it from 2017 to 2022. I made several episodes for my channel. Yes it does not yield views anymore, but I'd watch and show the support. FiveM servers do far better, but that's all role play with real people not AI. Also every time RockStar updates GTAV Online it breaks everything for LSPDFR. If you take the update with LSPDFR and the mods installed (because people leave auto updates on, or launch the game when there is an update), the game will crash. Yes there is a work around (Criminal Justice's channel is the best for getting things for LSPDFR backed up, reverted and eventually reinstalled) but he will say you need to back the game up before you update. The core components that break are, LSPDFR, ScriptHookV and RagePluginHook. The devs of LSPDFR now include the Rage plugin because the official website has not been updating it for a long time. ScriptHookV is made by one guy who I believe still lives in Ukraine, and it does get updated typically in a week or 10 days (sometimes sooner). If you do go back to rebuilding LSPDFR, I can recommend some of the best mods,sounds (I'd even add police radio scanner chatter in post production on a few videos), sirens, and so on that I used if you'd like to go down that rabbit whole. I guess I became an expert at a certain point, but I learned from the best (even skinning police cruisers). LOL

The saddest part about watching ex RR guys play Run8 is they all seem to love railroading but the class 1s make people miserable so they quit.

In order for Responding, On Scene, Available, and In Quarters to work do the following: Force the the call (or take one that is auto generated) Get into the vehicle driver seat Activate the call (change from Pending to Units Enroute) Choose Responding. To change to On Scene, just stay inside the vehicle and then press that button to On Scene. You always have to be in the vehicle for this method to work. Don't know why Cory programmed it that way, but that's how it is done. Note: There is sometimes a delay before it changes the little info panel on the screen, and thus I have to click it more than once. Not always the case, but it does happen.
