Most humble and well spoken of all companies. Case does well with him.
If only their knives were as good.
@@sufferedlearnedchanged Did you buy a Case lately?
@@Kaesemesser0815I bought one two years ago, had poor fit and finish, uneven bevels. Noticably a bad example. Hopefully they have worked that out since then
@@sufferedlearnedchanged
LOL 😂 that's what I've been trying to get people to see.
@@Kaesemesser0815I did very recently. A Sod Buster Jr in carbon steel with mahogany bone covers. The blade is SO bent it rubs the brass liner and that was right out of the box. It’s so bent you can see it plain as day, how this got by QC is beyond me.
Good to see Case continuing in the right direction.
"Modern Traditionals" are a thing! Great to see Case taking a step into a growing category.
yes i love modern traditional
knives. I wish more companies made them. Case is o
But double detents are garbage.
Bucks doing it too…. 😊❤
It’s fantastic to see Case evolving with the times! Their traditionals have always been great, and it’s exciting to see what they come up with in the future.
The difference it makes when the person representing the brand can go by themselves and have an actual conversation about the products they are showcasing. I like those modern traditional. Looking really nice.
Still American made and American proud. Gotta love Case. 🇺🇸
Yeah
That’s why QC is awful.
This gentleman from Case is always cool. No arrogance, no lousiness and always smiling.
Cool new knives.
I like that front flipper, don’t have a front flipper, I think it’ll be my first.
definitely gonna get a highbanks. super cool. that double detent action actually looks really crisp and satisfying. Im glad they did it with a half stop because double detents can be "finger getters". I appreciate the third detents safety
The longhouse looks awesome
I like the look of these knives. It's been interesting to watch case try to adapt to the new knife market but I'm glad they seem to have settled into the "modern classic" style knives.
The Long House is on my list.
The long house design with the detent instead of the lock I need that combo!! Blade shape & Barlow styling is awesome but I like the front flipper and the detent system together!!!!
Love Case and to see them stepping into the modern knives while not abandoning their heritage. Good stuff, guys!
I'm excited by Case's melding of 100 year old tradition and newer design, techniques and materials. As a north west Pennsylvanian, I'm biased as hell (I own a Zippo, but never smoked!) but I think this is unique in modern pocket knives.
CT2 fix looks really good.
Good materials, great handle, practical... I'm surprised, nice job Case.
And the spokesman is very likeable 10/10
I'm so excited to see Case starting to push their envelope. I can't wait to see some of these modern designs in bone and some of their classic patterns in modern materials. Very respectable, Case. I love to see it, and you will absolutely sell some knives to me again this year!
Case has the most interesting new designs of knives I’ve seen this year. Nice job case!!!!
Case makes good knives. I own a half dozen of them. I like the Stockman, especially the MIDDLE and Large. I just got a maple handle Burl Jack knife. I also like the Jack and Trapper. I grew up with a Barlow in my pocket, so I have a preference for two blade knives. What I like about the Stockman is the Sheepsfoot blade, for cutting up cardboard boxes. I wish Case would put a pen blade on the Stockman instead of the Spa blade. I gave my middle Stockman with a pen blade to my youngest daughter.
I'm not naive enough to think it'll happen any time soon, but properly hollow ground V-42's and the classic switchblades would be awesome things to bring back.
The classic switchblades would be a dream come true.
@@The4cp Not the hugest niches but in collectors circles they are extremely coveted centerpieces. It's creeping up on a century since they were built, or in the V-42's case built right. It'd be really nice to make new in spec factory versions attainable.
As long as Case takes time to QC these new offerings they will be great. I love the traditional but you have to find one in person because so many have issues out the door.
I like that Case is keeping their finger on the pulse of consumers. They brought in a whole other demographic I feel when they introduced their Marilla, kenzua, and westline models. Im really liking many of the new ones they showed here, and I think they will continue to do well keeping an open mind!!
I really like that CT2 a lot........ Please Case..... Make it happen
Love to see this iconic company improving, in particular with their semi-traditional models.
That wood version is excellent
The presenter is fantastic!
I think on the CT you should give the option for kydex, that number two is a scout carry edc dream!
I'm a sucker for Case knives. Their modern designs look good to me.
I went to the show, and those modern Slipjoints were bulky, and had very light detents and half stops…great idea.. but used a double detent system..which is very weak.
Man! Decisions decisions. I really like the blade and point on the Highbanks... But i want the flipper design of the longhouse however im not a big fan clip points... Would love the longhouse in a drop point or spear point.
I’m definitely gonna get that longhouse 🔥
I’m getting that first one for sure
That Seafoam color is just spot on :)
I like it too. It's much better than the purple.
I just am now getting into traditional knives, Case is the first rabbit hole Imma jump down
Rough ryder knives are just as good as case knives, but much, much, much cheaper. Case knives are criminally overpriced and
overrated. You'd get the same quality if you bought a Rough ryder.
@@HOSTILEMGTOW I have plenty of both. I like Case more than RR but believe me I'll be getting loads of both. I have a sharp things addiction. Lol hundreds of knives
@@MikeCzenkmd
Your comment makes no sense. You said you're just now getting into traditional knives and case is the first company you're gonna try out.
But now you're saying you have plenty of both?.🤨
@@HOSTILEMGTOW How much is RR paying you?
Gotta have one of the Highbanks for sure!
Man Case is stepping it up even more. That black maple burl is gonna be all mine.
I’ll be buying some of these new modernized traditionals from Case!
Great showing from Case 👍
I looove that front flipper. Definitely picking one of those up ASAP. I've been waiting for an American made front flipper for what feels like ages.
It’s sad, Case knifes look great. But I won’t buy them. I’m in the Uk and it’s too much hassle to get it replaced, due to there QC not relating to their pricing.
Unfortunate. God bless Texas 🤠 🇺🇸
Never heard of Case before.
What a wholesome company
Love that front flipper's Longhouse blade shape. That one is on my shopping list with the black burlap.. looks like the single blade razor will be in my shopping cart as well.. Looking good guys!!
Really liking the Bridge line. There will probably be a rosewood top-flipper in my future. It would be really cool to see them bring more of the classic materials (bone, carbon steel) to a more contemporary functionality.
Nice job by Case! Like these knives!
I have a love for Case. I have many mini stockman patterns in different handles. I love the copper lock with the Wharncliffe blade. I will have one, or two, or three.
Looking forward to some new full size Copper locks.
I ❤Case
I came for DCA but stayed for the rep and some interesting Case knives. I might have to get another Case knife after maybe thirty years.
Case is swingin' for the fences!
I’d like to see a stag magnacut trapper.
Wow I love that longhouse
Love Case Knives but please get your quality control under control!!!
Lovely Chap 👌
And some tempting traditionals.
I want the new front flipper with a sheeps foot or worncliff blade
Me: On the lookout for a classic design, sees Case and clicks.
Man I need one
How did the Canvas series do for you? I'm lucky enough to have gotten one of them, and I'd love to see it go into a more regular production.
I’d buy that first knife if it locked or at least had the stiff spring of their classic slip joints. The top flipper is a go. Been looking for an EDC fixed blade too.
Maury is one of the best reps! Great video DCA, Thomas, and Maury.
David C Anderson
Tell ur guys at Case to bring back the 337Q quartermaster knife from ww2
Highbanks looks fantastic!
I really like the ct2 but I’m not digging the carbon fiber scales I’d love to see some stabilized wood
New for 2025…real quality control!
Well it looks like i might be buying a case.
Gotta get that vault pattern. Detent knives aren't good. Should have used a backspring.
I would have been all in if it had a a backspring. Double detent is doa as far as I’m concerned. Damn shame, good looking knife.
They should do the old school traditionals in m4 crew wear etc
Handsome knives. And made in the USA. Lifetime warranty, what's not to like?
i have tried using Case as a daily work carry, cutting twine, string , tape and rope and Case just does not hold an edge very well. i like the American company thing but these knives do not seem to hold an edge. I know it is a combination of price and quality but in the end I do not need a knife that dulls so quickly. anybody have any suggestions?
Enjoyed - thanks!
Case is doing everything right. They gotta get their QC figured out tho. Shouldn't be letting so many lemons out.
That Dtent seems like a users nightmare! 👹
I like Case, but haven't bought one in a couple years and I won't buy one until they fix their God awful quality control....
I agree with you 💯👍
That Nitro-V skinner looks amazing, but I’m terrified to see how they’re gonna price it, since to a company that treats butter-soft “TruSharp” like how most companies treat VG-10 and 154CM, anything Nitro-V is liable to be priced like it’s some limited-edition, 20CV custom
I think it's $150 street price. The model with the carbon fiber handles is $135.
longhouse with the wooden handle
My jaw dropped seeing the CT3
I dont agree, leather sheaths are vulnerable and exclusive to one handed use
These are some nice looking knives but I'm put off by the nail nick opening method on all them. That has got to be the most inefficient method of opening I've seen.
Those case new model 24 have a defect in the lockup and will fail
Gimme a carbon steel for 30 bucks.
CPM 20 😆
The knife version of old man trying to be hip.
Decent looking bridge line. But 175?
GTFOH case.
I like traditionals but for the price they ask they should use some decent steel nothing fancy like 440c for instance or good carbon steel that's the only reason I never bought a Case traditional knife and sorry asking a lot of money for a traditional with a plastic handle too? no thanks. About modern traditionals sorry but others like Boker are doing this from years and frankly their knives look better.
2:10 CPM 20? Wtf is that lol. DCA is very polite at these trade shows lol. Nowhere near as bad as the Civivi rep though, I have to say...
You aren't familiar with CPM 20CV???
I'm familliar with it, I have one knife using that steel. It's Crucible's version of M390. I've just never heard it called CPM 20, I was taken aback! Maybe a slight over reaction, but I was getting more and more amused by the lack of knowledge on display from some of these reps, naming no names! *cough* *civivi* *cough* @@sheltermonkey6065
Would love to see their lavender color without the religious imagery
* patriotism intensifies*
Why would you want just a slipjoint on a EDC? Seems very unsecured.
Locking blades are illegal in a lot of places, even in the U.S. I always carry a slipjoint when I travel. It's just a safer option.
Mostly it's the nostalgia factor, and that they are pretty.
Big clunky Chinese knives 😑
How can you run a knife company and know nothing about knives
You run a knife company?
Case knives is a grossly overrated company 🤨. And on top of that they're criminally overpriced.
They really make “made in USA” look bad with their terrible QC.
@@scottburns5242
Yeah, but that's pretty much all companies nowadays lol.
This is my first time hearing of Case. When people talk about "overpriced" they usually mention Benchmade.
@@mugsofmirth8101
Yes, Benchmade is astronomically overpriced too, but in my opinion, their quality is of a higher tier than C.K..
I saw a video of a quality comparison of rough Ryder knives against case knives, and it was a tie.
The only thing is that, RRK is beyond being drastically cheaper than CK. So what's my point?.
My point is that CK is drastically overrated as a company, and they're also criminally overpriced LOL 😂.
You'd get the same tier of quality if you'd just buy from rough ryder.
@@HOSTILEMGTOW so if Benchmade is significantly higher quality then maybe their prices are justified.
I hate that he says “long house” without saying anything about the Haudenosaunee land he lives on. I won’t be buying anymore Case knives going forward
I'm sure they are very worried.... 🤣 Get out of here
Who cares imao
If Case stopped paying property taxes, it wouldn't be Haudenosaunee showing up to seize the property.
Lose the war, lose the land. It might not be fair, but that's how it works. The North American Tribal lands that are preserved and protected remain so due to victor generosity. The US Gov't is far from Sainthood, but that's a generosity rarely offered by ANY victor throughout history.
I'm sure the food you eat is grown on land that natives use to live on as well. Guess you better boycott food and starve yourself.
Can it ❄️
Why the crap can’t they bring back the Trapperlock?
