I don't think this video is the reason momoland failed. This video is just an opinion, the comments instead of crying about this content would have supported their supposed favs.
Momoland failed for multiple reasons, but this particular video and plenty other edited videos made around the time they had their breakthrough severely damaged their reputation and the possibility of new fans.
I don’t like when people say “oh well you should’ve just supported your favs” as if that does any justice. For example, it’s almost like a battle. 100 men vs 10,000 men. 10,000 antis obviously have more morale & voice than the 100 Momoland fans.

can someone explain to me why everybody hates this person? sure, this did eventually lead to momoland’s downfall & that sucks, but the copyright and plagiarism claims are pretty solid. the producers & writers 100% took inspiration from/stole from other artists and creators. not the girls’ faults that their production team set them up. same thing with illit’s plagiarism of another person’s choreography-not the girls’ fault, it’s the company’s fault, but that doesn’t take away the fact that someone’s art was wrongfully stolen or adapted without their permission. i’ve literally never understood the hate towards this video because they’re just pointing out the plagiarism and uncredited adaptations that momoland’s entertainment took
there’s a tiktok that went viral that said “no one would believe me nowadays if i said this group’s career quite literally was over because of a youtube video”, and ever since then, people started hating on this person since it became “the right thing to do” and everyone else started doing it.
i agree with you, and even if some of the claims were false, this video is just a person speculating. there is no way one person (or one video) could take down a whole group. now… if everyone else took it out of proportion and jumped the hate train… that could cause a lot of damage to the group. but we don’t know everything that happened behind the scenes, and shouldn’t act like we do.
