I don't think this video is the reason momoland failed. This video is just an opinion, the comments instead of crying about this content would have supported their supposed favs.
Momoland failed for multiple reasons, but this particular video and plenty other edited videos made around the time they had their breakthrough severely damaged their reputation and the possibility of new fans.

Regardless of that fact, the producer should know not to create/produce songs which do sound similar or the same, they should know of the backlash that similar/plagiarised songs get.
