    So did you get rid of the battery?

    • @VintageHondaMinis
      @VintageHondaMinis  Год назад

      No battery used, I ran this off engine only and ran thru well built AC regulator for reliability and excess voltage dissipation.

    East Coast of you with 2008 Lifan CT70 clone with 110cc PZ19 carb Thumper high flow exhaust (exact copy) 53 MPH some days less...heat, humidity I guess. I'm 250 lbs. so not too bad. Any advice to go 55+ MPH?

    • @VintageHondaMinis
      @VintageHondaMinis  2 года назад +2

      I use Mikuni VM20-273 carbs. I would swap to a quality carb as such, jet it right and see what happens. You might have it sprocketed good right now and hit that mph after swap or may wake up engine and allow a larger tooth front sprocket to get you there

    Hey Josh, so i have the same chain and sprocket setup by my chain on that CL70 where the sprocket meets makes a bit of noise would you know what i need to do? the chain is on the tighter end

    • @VintageHondaMinis
      @VintageHondaMinis  2 года назад +1

      You may need to tweak the clearance between chain and chain guard. Maybe the chain is rubbing a little

      @@VintageHondaMinis i dont even have the chain guard on it so i think its at the sprocket

    Isn't it bad for the frame and the front forks to mount a 110cc engine?
