Why no sound or details? Was this an old lady mistaking the gas for the brake like first reported? Was it a bad guy/ a terrorist/ a nut making a statement? Were they inside burned to a chunk of coal? In today's world of cctv every 10 feet and ring cams on every porch, why no clear story of wth happened?
I really hope that someone has confirmed the identity of the victim. It sounds like an elderly woman may have had a medical episode. Given the amount of time that they were exposed to such intense heat, there's likely nothing left to identify, even on a genetic level. It's also unlikely that they can find an intact VIN number. It's also quite possible that the extremely high pressure of the gas escaping punched a hole through the bottom of the vehicle. I just hope that she didn't suffer at all.

Considering the condition of the car and the closed driver door,,, I would say they did not survive.

Vehicle "that may have" what kind of headline is that? Everyone knows it did, that only question is was it intentional or an accident.
