  • AMAZING Martin de Candre Shaving Soap Lather Demo
Martin de Candre Shaving Soap is a luxury.
As soon as you swirl your shaving brush on the surface of this premium shaving soap you realise that this is a high-quality product, the scent hits you first then you'll see how easy the soap lathers up and when applied to the skin you'll fall in love with the rich, creamy and moisturising lather. It's an expensive shaving soap but it will last around 12 months daily use. The longevity of the soap is down to many weeks the air drying process Martin de Candre applies to each puck of soap. Air drying for weeks on end hardens the soap and removes any moisture in the mix. What you get is a dense, hard-packed shaving soap.
This is a Limited Edition Shaving Soap, Martin de Candre will stop making this soap during 2019.
Martin de Candre, artisan soap maker based in Fontevraud l'Abbaye, rural France, the maker of some of the worlds finest shaving soaps.

I heard a lot of good critics about MdC soaps. It builds up a magnificent lather as we can see. On the other hand they are quite expensive and there is a very limited choice of fragrances only.

Yes the range is limited but the quality is peerless. Expensive yes but the soap will last 9-12 months daily use depending on how much you load the brush. Thanks for watching. Brian.

Absolutely love this soap, yes it's expensive, but for me it's a Luxury added to my shave. I just love the whole history behind the brand. All handmade, high quality ingredients,.they sell experience with their products. It's completely understandable with their high price but it is what it is. I've got 2 of their glass soaps from the video, they're 60ml so perfect size and it's the L'original a really nice scent. As expensive people say they are I found it to be the cheapest from TheExecutiveshavingcompany. 👌👍👌👍

@@Enamm82 there is absolutely nothing "high-quality" about the ingredients, it's stearic acid and coconut oil, two very cheap fats/oils. Saponified and a bit of glycerin. The price is a complete ripoff.

@@SonicDeluxx I think you should give it a go, if you're into wet shaving then you should buy a MDC soap and see for yourself if it's a ripoff or not. As we all know it's all subjective, YMMV as people say. I've got 2 of the 60g glass container soaps and I've used quite a bit but there's hardly any dent or very minimal, it's out lasting my other 100g soaps. It looks like its working out to be better value as it's lasting more longer..
There are soaps which costs less and will perform similar, like Fitjar Island and Saponificio Varesino maybe give those a try and see.
Its definitely not a rip off. 👍🏼👍🏼

Try soaps from The Old'e English Shaving Shop. They can do what this video shows by just laying the brush on the top of the soap for half a minute.

We always recommend lathering in a bowl and applying to your face using a brush. We just wanted to show off how well the MdC soap lathers. Thanks for watching.
