    I thought you wre going to say to freeze it. Im glad you like it this way. Much less time and work.

      It's true! Freezing is mostly passive time though, you just have to remember to do it - which, you know, can be challenging some days :)

    LOL I love your sentiment about medium tofu, I never use it. I always use Extra Firm, but I just found Super Firm tofu, and it’s a game changer for sure! :D

      Silken is great for creams and desserts - I just honestly don't know WTF to use medium for.

    OMG this is life changing! Thanks for a great hack! I used this as a base for a “chicken tinga” Mexican dish

    Very cool idea. Love this! By the way, I have that same awesome set of bowls from Costco. The red bottom is great!

    I make teriyaki tofu cubes which are great, but this looks like it would mimic chicken better which I think my husband would enjoy. By the way your granola recipe rocks! Thanks so much for sharing!

      Oh! I'm so glad you like that granola recipe. It's a staple in our house - I literally just had a handful :) And yes - I bet your flavouring is amazing, but try this technique for texture and let me know what you and your hubby think!

      Why do you want to mimic the results of animal cruelty (killed chickens)?

    • @lorie_g
      @lorie_g Год назад

      I understand your point and have thought about that in the past. For me, I never liked meat, so it's easy, but my husband loves meat, and it is hard for him to give up, so I try to add things that mimic that for him. @@TheFettuck

    Medium firm tofu is amazing as an egg like substitute 😋

    • @pbwithjeremy
      @pbwithjeremy  Год назад +1

      Yes - but just plain medium is - I don't know - it because grainy when used in sauces and it falls apart when using in firmer dishes. I honestly don't know what the hell people use it for

      @@pbwithjeremy I love it just sliced, fried in vegan butter, topped with black salt. Have been trying different vegan egg yolk recipes to give that over easy vibe

    The only time I ever use medium tofu is when making a vegan ricotta.
