As far as casting psionic spells with sorcery points, you could do that and still cast a bonus action spell, like Misty step, thus bypassing that rule.
@@brynwtsn ah, true! Didn’t come to mind since my build didn’t incorporate many bonus action spells in it, might be good for reapplying armor of Agathys though!
@@xiongray especially with searing smite because then you could fly away on the reindeer and they would have a real hard time getting rid of the round after round damage 🥶🤣
True! You have medium armor and a shield though, and you’re gonna be on your reindeer far away from the enemies! With half plate and a shield you’ll be just fine! 😄
Just a slight correction, channel. Divinity is 2 per long rest. And you only get one of them back on a short rest. Also, it only takes a bonus action to summon another pact weapon, not an action.
So for this build u should just use a reach weapon so you can hit twice around. The thrown weapon thing will be good if u get w magic item that returns to u but u cant assume players will get that item. Since your doing mounted combatant, why not cast warding bond on you and your horse. Then u upcast aid on both you and your horse and this should result in your character being significantly more tanky. Other than that it’s a cool concept, but I hate save or suck builds and that’s just my opinion. I hate save or sucks bc once u get to mid/high tier of play monsters have legendary resistances and have high saving throws. I like to do things that don’t rely on a saving throw. That’s just me though. For the most part, I like the build and it’s cool. Also something to consider is the meta magic option that lets u change the dmg type of amor of Agathis for when u face enemies immune or resistance to cold dmg. Also since your heavily relying on save or sucks u really wanna cap your CHR instead of str. Ik for mounted combatant u have to boost either str, dex, or Wis but i would really focus everything else on chr. U can do warcaster to get to 18 CHR, and then +2 chr to get to 20.
@Brandonrod So the idea is that you would be 30 feet up in the air when throwing the Javelins, and you would just have a ton in your bag. With the new rules there is basically no restriction on changing weapons, so you can just have a bunch in your bag and throw them at your enemies. Since you will be farther from the enemies you will be much harder to hit most of the time. Especially because you only need to be 30 feet away when throwing. You can then fly 120 feet back and be 150 feet away from your target. Also you’re using innate sorcery, so your saving throws are 1 better for all the saves you’re using, and this build by the end has a 20 CHA and only an 18 Strength so we for sure went that route with it. I agree that save or sucks… well suck lol, so that’s another reason why I’m stacking multiple effects on each other to increase the likelihood of at least 1 of them working out. Got Elemental Adept so we don’t need to worry about resistance luckily. Thanks for your comment! I love to hear what people think about the build! 😁
I hope you guys enjoy the build! This video was super fun to make! What was your favorite part of the build?
Flying Reindeer & Gnome/Santa's Elf with Rock Gnome fits perfectly for making presents on the fly.
Ok, this was better than I expected. I really like your use of reflavouring. Never thought to do it with entangle. 3rd eye reopened
@@bponcho414 I’m glad you liked it! It was really fun to make! Flavor is free! 😁
Great build! Thx! :D

It tickles my fancy for a Transmuted Thunderous/ Searing Smite for Cold.

@comradewarners Heightened Spell for more effectiveness. It can stack on itself as well, being non-concentration and all.
Multiclass into Paladin means no heavy armor

@@brynwtsn Ah, good to know!! Still really good, but an important distinction! 🧐😄
IS halfling immune to Javelin of Backbiting?
I feel like it is! Unless you get two Natural 1’s in a row! 💀😂
