I notice this is a older video but it sure is a very helpful one Michael. Your so talented many kudos to you. I looked all over for a understandable video/pattern of the flower that can be never ending and this is it. The yarn is breath taking and perfect for this pattern. I get a kick out of your giggles of happiness when you like something. Thank you bunches for your time showing the "how to make the pretty flower."
Your tutorials are always so lucid. I'm a life-time advance crocheter, but there's always something to learn from you. This would made a cute purse. Thank you!
After watching Mikey's tutorial on this flower, I just had to try it. I had just finished a lovely large doily but felt the center was just too plain with 3 rows of double crochet. So I made the flower with the same doily thread and sized it to fit the center. It was so easy, and "wow" does it ever make the doily "pop" now! This is definitely my favorite flower pattern ever!
I love the idea of making the flower big enough to make it into a round pillow. I cannot wait for the written version of the pattern. Keep up the great work Mikey! :)
mikey...i appreciate ur tutorials....thanks to u i have learned how to crochet things i never thought i could. thank you for taking the to show these tutorials..ur great!
Thank you for doing the On Demand video! It led me to these flowers. I had no idea you had so many flower tutorials. I've been looking for a simple flower to put on a plain hat I made which came out ugly and a flower will make it great!
Hermosas! I can't wait to start making them. Thank u mikey. I'm still very new to crochet and find you videos very. Easy to understand. You are very encouraging.
What a great video! I needed flowers to finish my top hat since I really didn't like the ones from the pattern. Thank you Mikey the video was very easy to follow!
do you think this would work using crochet thread and the appropriate hook? I would love to use this pattern in thread as a pretty detail on shirts or jeans.
Search Mikey's tutorial for the "Mermaid tears purse", The flower starts on part 3 and continues on part 4 and it is a very similar pattern to the one in this tutorial. Once you get the hang of that flower (its one color) you will see this one is a close match and you won't have trouble following.
Zivia Beniflah, you are a gem. THANK YOU!!! I’m having a little trouble seeing the details in this vid, as I’m watching on my phone, so your comment is of great help to me.
Would this work on a large scale project like a mat? I want something thick that I could put next to my bed on the floor and I was wondering if the bottom/back of this flower would be fine laying down.
Thank you - just what I was looking for. Can you please tell me where I might find the cover/holder you use on your hook. I have looked everywhere but cannot seem to find any. Thank you - Julie
I llove this flower but with the yarn color it's hard for me to see where I need to place my hook to follow along with you. Can you do this tutorial with a nice light color? I really want to use this pretty flower on a projec t I am doing now....help plz!
It's not too fast for people who know what they're doing. You can also pause the video to catch up and have time to go as slowly as you want. If he went any slower, the video would be two or three times as long, and that would be torturous for just trying to make a simple flower. If you want beginner videos that are slow and explain every little movement, then go find beginner videos.

Lovely yarn!! Is it easily available?
Would making the stitches d.c. instead of s.c.make much of a difference? Or would it just make the flower slighlty bigger?
Thank you - just what I was looking for. Can you please tell me where I might find the cover/holder you use on your hook. I have looked everywhere but cannot seem to find any. Thank you - Julie
love your video where s the instructions

Use a solid color yarn. Very difficult to differentiate stitches. Do it over.
Quiero el tutorial de una flor amarilla grande que salia antes de este video,, salían nada más los pasos y luego empezaba este vídeo,
super epic fail on this one! Will have to rewatch and figure out where I went wrong!
Beautiful yarn, but the colourful yarn makes it difficult to see what you do for demonstration.
Easy to do but why not with a solid color
Oh yeah, almost forgot! In reguards to the "I'm mad" comment, I got a friend who makes you look silly ;)
I think the yarn should have been one color so I can better see what you are doing
WAY complicated for me.. :/ Can't successfully do it just yet.
that was lovely, thank you Mikey, and, i don't think your mad,
honest--oo00oo--*(_)*--oo00oo--haha!
you go way too fast.
