    Another cool video! I know you guys recommend your 485 cam paired with the 64mm throttle body for a 114 stage 2. I'm not clear watching from 3:20 - would you recommend the 64mm TB over the 55mm here regardless of cam choice (I mean sensible alternatives)?

      It turned out nice, quick with good roll-on power. I haven’t ran into someone with a 131 or bigger that wants to rip so I can’t compare but it’s quick. Also have a stage 2 107 that was pulling away from when this 117 was stock, now I can pull away fairly easy. Close to 140 torque based on dyno.

    Hello Moonshine Techs, I appreciate your overview on the intake manifold and throttle bodies for HD. I purchased a 2020 Breakout 114cu and had a SE Stage 3 installed. The HD technician at that time discouraged me not to include a 55mm or 64mm intake with my upgrade. However, after reviewing your video re: throttle bodies, I’d like reconsider my initial plan. Given what I currently have (stage 3), what intake & throttle body would you recommend I install?

If reliability wasn’t their biggest concern I bet they could get 200+ HP with out a power adder but it wouldn’t be something you could just ride anywhere any time.

    I just don't know what a street bike or touring bike does reliably with 150+ hp.

    • @MoonshineHarley
      @MoonshineHarley  2 года назад

      Just depends on the build…we have a 128 and 131 that make 150 plus which has shown to be as reliable as some smaller builds. It depends on the cam and parts paired with the build.

    Y’all wrong for not even mentioning HPI in the throttle body game. They’ve got one of the top 3 throttle bodies on the M8 market.

    What do you recommend for a stock 117 with wood 22XE cam and fuelmoto jackpot 2-1 pipe???
