Happy happy days, we didn't have money because mothers didn't work but we had pals on the street to play with (and fight with, it wasnt always happy), the best ever tv and music in the 1970s and we didn't expect too much from life
I was 8 years old and listening to all these great songs brings back memories of those times and all the people who were involved with me ,just brilliant.
Started collecting records in late 70 theas were the best times of my life great friends great music whish I could go back with absent friends to those days
Hahaha sounds funny now. When I was 18 into 1971 music. my parents were into the 40's music. Too weird now what our kids think of us stuck in a time machine listening to the music which made our memories so precious xx
Brings back memories from my Ten-ager year. That "Tams" video is so funny. The guy in the middle of the back three is so unsynced, was it planned that way?
You know when I first heard.. The Pushbike Song.. I automatically assumed it was the pop group Mungo jerry, everything about the song sounds just like mungo jerry.
In Australia the Mixtures version of In the Summertime outsold the Mungo Jerry version. Did not realise they had major success outside Australia with the Pushbike Song.

Quite a variety. That's what I like about 70s music. It's so diverse and there's something for everyone. 🥰
Imagine that year without a Stairway to Heaven?
Great mixture of good sound kept putting coin in jukebox for the b sides🤑
My Sweet Lord One of my all time favourites. I always thought George was the most talented of the Beatles tbh.
