Tony Jefferson Joins to Talk Why He Picked the Chargers and Relationships with Minter and Hortiz

- Tony Jefferson loved the Chargers growing up in San Diego, and he is ecstatic about getting the opportunity to play for them. Jefferson believes his physicality is a perfect fit in Los Angeles and believes his past experience with Jesse Minter will give him a leg up at making the team. Dan and David talk with the newest Chargers addition about why he isn't surprised at all about Minter's rise to glory and loves the freedom his scheme gives to his players. Jefferson spent 2023 as an NFL scout with the Ravens under Joe Hortiz, and he says watching all of that film helped him see some tendencies he hopes will help his comeback attempt. Derwin James was the Charger that advocated for Jefferson to get signed in LA, and the former Raven said even at practice the star safety is a marvel to behold.

I don't see him joining and putting in the work in the offseason to be a "on the bubble" to make the 53.. he and the chargers wouldn't have come to an agreement if he isn't essentially a lock. Didn't get the line of interpretation of him potentially making/not making it, aside from that it's great that y'all were able to get him on the show to get his input on joining the squad
