I came to comments for that reason also. If I turn it up to hear the music my ears get blasted out when he talks or hoots at Kirstie (can’t say I blame him....but my ears 😳). I’m not sure how you can fix the sound differential...but please try!

He is really talented but couldn't keep it with the tours when his mother had cancer and he had depression in 2017 (she survived).
I absolutely love his solo career, he is one of my favorite artists at the moment, and Matt is doing an amazing job with Pentatonix.

Your volume is significantly higher than the video volume. If I turn it up to listen to them my ears bleed when you emote and/or talk. Good element to work out for next video.

Avi's hips were VERY popular to watch "back in the early days"...whew! Look for one of their early live concert versions of "Let's Get it On" where they'd bring up an audience member to be a "chair girl". Talk about palpatations!!
Love your enthusiasm! Reactions are so much fun to watch! I add my vote for Avi Kaplan's Change on the Rise - it will blow you away! And as others have said, yes, if you think it's Mitch - it is! Lol. I would recommend Hip Hop Goes Broadway (part one and two!) & Defying Gravity by Superfruit - the first because you tend towards rap as normal genre of music, & the second for one of the best Mitch as an inhuman alien experiences! For PTX - one of the lesser done reactions (I have no idea why!) that I think you will really get a kick out of - Starships!
That's Mitch. He changes every year. That's externally. But internally? He's always that sweet little angel. He's all soft and cuddly in there.

Once again--great reaction. Avi and Kevin are the best. They shared an apartment so they could practice together and be what they are today. They change the beat of the Christmas carol "O come all ye faithful". Avi's base is great in their original "Sing" and Kevin raps as well.

If you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely watch their documentary "On My Way Home". They let a camera crew roll with them during a full tour around the world (their first big significant one). You get to see all of them on a personal level. But the biggest reason is because I'm also a huge Avi fan. He's happy and upbeat, great energy, always dancing, amazing smile and beautiful eyes (I have a thing for eyes). But the thing I love the most which is on FULL display throughout the documentary is his dry sense of humor. I don't usually enjoy dry humor but his is STUPIDLY hilarious! And it's something you'll never see by just watching music vids. AND you get to see Avi and Kevin's best friendnessness.
In one of their earlier concert videos (could even be at tge acapella academy) avi & kevin did a short piece together. They were really good. Hence their nickname of "meat & potatoes" given to them during the season 3 sing off
Great reaction! Don't mind the pauses, as long as you go back a few seconds. When you cut away just before Mitch's epic high note run, I'm yelling NOT NOW - but you went back and picked up the lead into it, even saying "so we're still doing that". Never think Mitch can't go higher, or Avi go lower for that matter. You should check out their other Macklemore & Ryan Lewis cover, Thrift Shop - it's in their old style, live with humor and amazing harmony. And lots of rapping.

Yeah I started reacting to rap and learned early on to go back a few secs if I pause or I would miss bars so I did the same with them cause there is so much to take in I don't want to miss anything lol. And Thrift Shop is super boppy so I could see them having fun with that also, on the list!

I've watched this video maybe a dozen times or so the song not your reaction and I only realized it in the last few times everyone has their own style and everybody kind of dresses for it and then near the end when they're doing "we put our hands up" part everybody is wearing the clothes when they were the lead in their little part sorry this is rambly if you look at their clothing you'll understand what I mean

Matt does seem like real good vibes as well in the stuff I've seen him in.
'Chubby' would be unfair, but Mitch did weigh a bit more when they started out. I never heard the reason why, but he lost a LOT of weight a couple of years after that, and was pretty skinny through most of their career. he's definitely gained a bit back in the last year or so, and looks very healthy in comparison.
First time away from his mom's cooking; he ate a lot of fast food.
He was kind of skinny on The Sing Off, but yeah he did gain weight.
He says he stopped eating gluten and it made a huge difference

This is one of the videos where I highly recommend checking out the behind the scenes videos they shot. It's such an intricate video with all the themes going on it's really need to hear them discussing it and how they did it and whatnot. Would be awesome to see a reaction, but even if you don't record yourself watching it, you should still check it out just because it's a really nice complement to the finished product.
Love the reaction, but you're blowing up my headphones. If the band is at a level 5, you talk and it's at 11. If I turn you down, then the video is so low I can't hear it. Had to take my headphones off to get through it and that's just not as good. Please adjust your levels in future videos, thanks!!!

You really need to balance the volume of your commentary with the vid you're playing. If I turn it up loud enough to hear the song, I'm blasted when you speak. I couldn't take any more after 2:15.

Yeah I've had some mentors say what doesn't get measured, doesn't get tracked, and doesn't get achieved so I try to keep some reminders around to keep me on track! Appreciate the view and comment hopefully you're hitting some goals as well!

Even though Avi left, I'd STILL love for he and Kevin to make something EDM-style together officially using their talents, just once. I know it'll never happen but MAN it'd be good promo for people to remix it or sample it or whatever!
This is early on in PTX history. You can always tell how far they've come along by 2 things. The 1st is As time goes on avi's hair gets longer and longer. It's not pacific standard time it's Pentatonix standard time. Second, Mitch's face starts to thin out and there after You can match up his Hairstyle to Whatever year it is.
Just remember there has only ever been one change in PTX: Matt replacing Avi. The rest have been the same since the beginning.
