    IDK how much the sign thing helped Michigan last year but when TCU was warned and changed their signs, Michigan got beat. Does that prove what I think it proves?

      Ducks shouldn't be ranked ahead of Texas or bama their best win is over a Utah team with a third string QB when half the team was injured. Makes no sense. And Washington isn't as good as advertised either.

    • @paulbegansky5650

      My answer Oregons loss was less embarrassing than alabamas. But it is all in the wash,, bama has to beat Georgia or is out. I didn't realize the pac 12 got rid of divisions, so Oregon anscwash will meet again. I don't think a 1 loss Washington non cahampion will make playoff. I believe a 1 loss oregon pac 12 campion only makes it if FSU loses and bama beats georgia. Still can't believe SEC and big 10 are in divisions while the acc, pac 12 and big 12 aren't. In the end, the last team would be a fight to get in weather 1 loss texas champion 1 loss Louisville champion, 1 loss Oregon champion, or 1 loss bama champion or 1 loss Georgia/fsu non champion. Lot of football to be played....I had to edit it.

    As far as Michigan's sign stealing goes, the only games they've lost were the games in which they didn't know ahead of time who they would play, and therefore couldn't "scout" them out. And that's not suspicious at all.

      Bama lost to t.u., so they shouldn't be ranked above them. It's November, so Bama's traditional FCS cupcake game is scheduled; definitely not a quality win. The ugly horns tend to lose a game they _should_ win, so let's hope that happens soon. If we see some Divine intervention and they lose to TCU, they'll drop to being the lowest 2 loss team in the rankings.

    I think the top 3 schools to benefit from the transfer portal will be, Auburn, Probably Colorado just cause of Deion Sanders, and Ole Miss! Ole miss probably a surprise lol I think this because, this is probably the best ole miss team under Lane Kiffin. My questions are, Can ole miss stun the dawgs? Can Penn state prove they can beat top teams? Final question is will Florida State look better against Miami? Florida State was not great against Pitt, probably cause of their players being injured, Pitt hung in there awhile but those are my questions!

    • @pestyoverlord
      @pestyoverlord 11 месяцев назад

      Auburn benefit, not until they can win. And they won't next year. Penn state can win, but normally chokes against osu Michigan. Miami is sneaky, you don't know who will show up. Fsu needs to game up. As for Ol miss, unless they beat Georgia they get morsals of a low team with one exception....MANNING could go there

    Wow three awesome questions better then ANY talk show? Awesome. 3. Michigan punishment, nothing this year, if attempted, will go to the courts. Does NCAA have any rule about non coaching stealing signs? Will this guy flip on Harbaugh? 2. Helmet microphone should be in all ready. Could be implemented by next year. 3. Benefit from portal, bigger question will Lincoln Riley go to Raides with Williams or Arizone. But with teams moving conferences now you are looking at who is the prize transfer. MANNING., USC transfers if Riley leaves. Colorado transfers in and out depends on coaches, they need offensive line and defense depth. This is a complete guess..OU gets Manning due to Coach Lebby and SEC. Riley leaves, Colorado, Oregon and OU benefit from exodus. Texas maybe. This is a complete guess. Again Funnymaine, GREAT QUESTION. If I am close, I want a ticket to see you perform

    Not every school can afford helmet communications. It's not impossible, but the tech would have to flow up as well as down the college football landscape. As with anything in regards to college athletics, it's about where the money will come from.

    • @debbrown4731
      @debbrown4731 11 месяцев назад +1

      The NCAA alone made over 4 billion in profits last year. And most of the conferences showed profits of almost a billion. Tell me they can’t cough up the funds?

    • @bamahi7142
      @bamahi7142 11 месяцев назад

      @@debbrown4731 The NCAA doesn't supply equipment to every school. The NCAA would simply be involved in making it available at the collegiate level by introducing the new rule. Every school's budget is not the same based on enrollment. So, to make it fair for all schools would be the hardest part. That's all. Furthermore, if you're going to spew stats on income, you need to show the receipts. The SEC did not make a billion dollars in revenue. They made $721.8 Million. That's divided up and goes to the schools. The windfall goes to school, not just the football program. Yes, with that kind of cash, anything is possible, but for the smaller programs (cupcakes, Juco, etc.) their athletics department would have to compromise somewhere or have it donated, gifted or sponsored.

      Right? Or how about the poor players themselves? I'm a UGA alum and fan but I would HATE for the Michigan players to be screwed over because of the actions of one assistant coach. College football is fundamentally different than the NFL game. Most teams don't huddle so having the QB receive the play call via comms would mean that he would still have to communicate the play to the rest of the offense via signals.

    • @grondhero
      @grondhero 11 месяцев назад

      Or code words. Signals are used because they can't hear you halfway across the field. Closer, words could be used and they could huddle up.

    • @Vales55
      @Vales55 11 месяцев назад +1

      The rules are actually very clear on the matter, it's not illegal during the game itself. It's only illegal if you scout FUTURE opponents at other games and steal the signs ahead of time using electronic recording equipment.

  • @davidacevedo4329
    @davidacevedo4329 11 месяцев назад

    Unlike the NFL most college teams do not huddle. They change the play once or twice after the coach checks the defensive alignment. Even with a helmet speaker to the QB there would still be a need for hand signals. Everybody steals signs, this is nothing new.

    • @grondhero
      @grondhero 11 месяцев назад

      I think the issue is the video recording of the signs. But yeah, teams have complained about sign stealing for years. When player A switches to team B, he tells them their signs. Nothing new other than the method used.
