If it’s a manual, he’s on the clutch pedal and the throttle but only enough that the clutch is barely grabbing. Driving stick is basically a balance of clutch and throttle (especially when you are just setting off), and he is revving more aggressively than he has to because it is fun and sounds cool. I do it a bit too, just don’t ride the clutch 👍🏼
