The economy and markets have now been stretched almost 5 years past the natural peak of the 45-year technology/innovation cycle that has been supercharged with $27T of stimulus. The markets now seem to be in a "permanent plateau of prosperity" as quoted by leading economist Irving Fisher back in 1929. However, we may finally be seeing signs of a top in Bitcoin and stocks here with the recent short 6% crash in Bitcoin. If we can't break back above the recent highs of $108,515, we are likely headed down and a break of $101,400 on Bitcoin will confirm a more bearish trend for 2025.
