24 Hours on the Cheapest Sleeper Train Across India
HTML-код

- Today I rode the Duronto Express sleeper train for 24 hours across India. I started off in Kochi, Kerala, and traveled about 1,400 kilometers through different cities and states in India. This was my first time ever riding a train, let alone doing overnight across another country! I'll show you every detail of the experience. From a tour of the four classes of travel, 1st Class AC, 2nd Class AC, 3rd Class AC, and even the lowest class SLEEPER… which happens to have NO AC!
I'm basically a professional train rider now

5:11 As an Indian I would like to say that I extremely love the sounds and couldn’t go on a train without the sounds. But great vid. Nice to see your reaction to our railway. I also love to go to the door.
I love the sounds of a train ride as well. The sound actually puts me to sleep.
@@a.azazagoth5413 Yea same!!
Mr Shaun Aviation You are absolutely correct. In fact my cousin worked in Northern Rly and his house quarters were close to the tracks They used to use by the sound coming from the tracks at various intervals which express trains are coming to the station.
Sorry, I mixed the 2nd class and 3rd class up in this video guys. They should have been swapped!
The food in first class is bottomless, in fact on some trains you can order ala carte, with no extra charge
Make sure to leave a like if you guys enjoyed the video, thanks for the support 👍❤
Next time try Bande Bharat Express. Or chair car in Duranto , Satabdi , Rajdhani etc... And really wanna see how Royal luxurious looks like then try Maharaja Express, Decen Odyssey, Rajasthan on wheels, Palace on Wheels and other trains 😊 but the thing is these are expensive.
Visit northeast part of India ....
Just a note please don't believe people who say that trains are late because trust me it's very rare when your train will be late sometimes trains actually come hours early so it's better to be at least 15 mins early 😂
gotcha, i was so worried! I had a bunch of people tell me they are always late and i almost missed it lol
"it's very rare" lmaooo
Bro whenever I tried to board my train and come to station early, the train's always late, and when I am on time, there's a 50/50 chance that the train is either late or early lol
@@sleeper6548 lmao 😭 idk why but for me it's always early or on time when my father used to go to work through train and he always used to travel in local train even that train was always on time. It was like once in a month that his train would be late.
@@Ankittt524 well yeah I have been traveling in trains since I was a kid and for us it has always been on time. Be it a local train or shatabdi or rajdhani
I love his positive energy
Always
I’m Indian and whenever I go to my moms village they only have an Indian toilet. One time I was trying to use it but I fell into it. Worst day of my life
bro the amount of ptsd id have if that happened to me isnt even funny
fell into it? ong bro i would be in the shower for atleast an hour after that 😂
@@KFergy I have a lot of ptsd now whenever I go into the bathroom. Whenever I sit down I’m in the fear of falling into the toilet.
@@bangedmybro I was in the shower for 2-3 hours
FKING HELLLL NO BRO. I WOULDNT WISH THAT ON MY ENEMY
In the next 3 yrs the railways are going to have a massive overhaul. Would be nice to see the vlogs then.
Can’t wait
Eh?? Why?? What's happening in the next 3 years

Thanks hopping! Just takes time 🙏🏻
Your videos are great. Just keep building video content. You have a unique style which is very entertaining. Keep building content and your channel will go places!
I appreciate that, definitely needed to hear this ♥
The man you saw in the middle of forest 10:06 is actually a Railway track serviceman.... It's their job to check the track and report to near by station if there is any fault...
The BUM GUN 🔫 was hilarious 😂😂
I mean it’s a gun for your bum 😭
Thanks for respecting us indians
-Lots of love from India 🥰😄
the fact that indians are always so welcoming to foreigners makes me so proud about being an indian ❤

hi im new! i know this channel will grow bigger! i rooting for you!
Awesome video as usual. You are very brave trying all that food 😅
Thank you 😋 i think the food made henna sick though cause she ended up throwing up later that night when we got to the hotel
I tried Turkeish food once and it made me really ill poor hannah hope she's okay seemed like I don't know if to trust or not especially the none bottled water
what do u mean by very brave trying those.. do u think indian will poison u with there food..and i am not even indian
@@aster7305 I am an Indian and even I say he is brave to try those food from train
Bro my anxiety went up so much when you leaned out the train, i thought you were gonna get hit with a tree branch 💀💀
i had to double, triple check before even looking. i wasnt trying to lose me head
Regarding train late related issues, I would say 7 out of 10 trains in India are on or before time. Please, try India's best passenger train - The Vande Bharat Express.
i read about that train the other day, it looks awesome
7/10 trains are not on or before time unless it is one of those special trains like the Duronto express
@@omen8523 I don't see long distance trains being late.
@@omen8523 the only trains that are late are the local trains most of the time, you will never find shatabdi, vande Bharat or rajdhani being late hell even local trains aren't late nowadays
@@18cg Trains like mangla, garib rath & netravathi are also running before time always.
Ah the sound! Nostalgia.
Bro since you are already in India, just try to take a ride on our very new 'Vande Bharat Express' !!!! Its the newest and fastest train in India right now and it runs at 160 kmph !!! Its our very own semi high speed bullet train 🤩
That sweet you get in west bengal ❤️
we love you emtias❤
Dude im seeing this now!! I got back from karnataka to chhattisgarh last week had a gap of 7 hours of scheduled train in mumbai if i knew you earlier would have felt great meeting you
About Toilets
There is nothing embarrassing about Indian style toilets. Why Indian toilets are a great option, just to mention a couple of advantages :
No physical contact with the commode, hence you are not picking up anything.
The best position for optimally emptying your bowels, due to which one does not have to repeatedly visit the toilet. The posture one takes on in the western style commode is not the best for optimum emptying of the bowels. Though on a moving train western style may be advantageous due to the incessant movement of the train.
In spite of knowing all this, we have started preferring the western style at our homes only because of the ease, including mine.
However one good thing about the western style is a relief for the elderly.
Enjoy your travel in India 🙏!
Travelling in Mumbai during Monsoon. Wow. Thats brave. Its one of the rainiest places in India. Even trains run on water😅
If u say that you are way too dumb. Dare visiting cherapunji or Mausinram. No visibility
Once try Indias vande bharat train . Which is Morden and cheaper. Will love it brother
Bro come to Odisha sometime. It's off the beaten track.. Tourism isn't a big thing but we've got a lot of places you could visit.. Especially historical temples dating back thousands of years.. The archietecture will absolutely blow you away.
9:35 - You gotta eat the spongy sweet whole, that too head raised, so that the juices fall directly in your mouth.
While visiting the city you can take AC Local train or Metro trains to skip traffic . South Mumbai Fort area is good to see in rain & if you want to see traditional performance you can visit the newly opened Nita Mukesh Ambani cultural center . Take a water boat to Global Vipasana Pagoda. It's an amazing structure. Visit Lonavala & Lavasa & visit theme park on the way. Happy travelling .
And in Bangalore, metro.
When you finish North and need a rest come back to Kerala. We got you 😂❤.
thanks homie
Brother it's worst time to vist india because monsoon just hit india and these 1 to 2 months are so rainy 😅

im a huger fan of you sir
Tbh now best luxury train has become maharaja express but for common people like u n me can take vande Bharat train, trust me it is amazing experience u could ever have better than aeroplane
Nice blog and it's always interesting to hear foreigner's perspectives. there is no 2nd class and 3rd class in long distance trains. It's 2 tier AC and 3 tier AC all part of AC class. Very few trains have First AC class. Then there is sleeper class which is nothing but 3-tier non-AC and 2S (second sitting) for passengers taking short journeys. (Not present in premium trains like Rajdhani and Durontos). Once upon a time there used to be 3rd class, which was abolished in 1978
You were in my home state
I hope you enjoyed ❤
10:35 I stayed in the second class AC when I was about 11, quite an experience.
Hahaha I don’t doubt it
If possible, you should try the vande Bharat trains. It's fast and quite.
You can visit go to Manali. It is a himachal Pradesh, northern. A fresh air and beautiful view. ❤️🤌✨
Sounds awesome!
I have got to have a water bottle holder now. Thanks to you
Same illl put one in my place 😂
9:30 the desert is rasgulla. Come to West Bengal and try the best of the best here. Train rasgullas are downright trash tbh.

That train noise is an important part of any train journey for Indians
Thanks...

It's not 5 Star train in India you can try Vande Bharat train it's the on of the best train experience if you want to
Must visit Leh Ladakh
These coaches are pretty old. Try Tejas rajdhani for longer sleeper jounrey.
Awesome I was wondering if there was newer ones
As a malayali (a person from Kerala) who has lived in many other states, I can vouch that we honk honk the least. If you think Mumbai honks a lot, you should go to Delhi.
I just watched this , good video :>
Wow... Sony ZV-E1, and paired with Sony 20mm?
Hey I have a question
How did you reduce so much noise like the software and all ?
Not all INDIAN TRAINs are always LATE , only in Rainy seasons (Monsoon) due some climate conditions
Even if the running status of the train shows running late. Still you should be on the platform and in front of you coach position before time. Trains usually cover up the delay so it's better to be early than miss your train
10:10 bro got left 😔
had to have, homie was chilling in the middle of nowhere
Try Vande Bharat Express too
Try the Vande Bharat Express trains atleast once.
Love from Telangana Hyderabad brother
yesterday im on a vietnames train and you most of the experience is the similar just the cabin is much newer and the ac is also like broken for a few hrs
nice to know!! I wanna check out the trains when I get to vietnam

Man you travelled across one of the most scenic routes of Indian railways...... You missed the best part of this journey.... Watching through ur window the breathtaking scenary of western ghats.....
It was basically storming the entire ride there, I picked the wrong season to travel too haha
@@KFergyIt is THE season actually.... Monsoon....has just arrived in west coast... Winds, rains will always be there
As an Indian this looks so funny because you don’t know the customs or situations😂
"It came with white sauce. Im sure its mayonnaise, but im not really sure"
I really hope it was mayo buddy
i ope so too...
i was actually worried abt this guy when he said "the cheapest sleeper train" ...u hv no idea bro its a nightmare
Visit Rishikesh, you wont regret
If you don't like the honking or traffic come to Mizoram in the north east
Food is not free.. Generally, when you travel in AC coaches the fare is inclusive of food expenses. Even if you choosen veg / nonveg option while booking ticket, the staff on train generally check out with you.
so wouldnt that mean its free then if its already inclusive and included? I get what you mean lol but its no extra after you buy your ticket
You try north Indian food you'll love it and try chaap.
Vlogger you travelled one the best best and beautyfull locations of India called Western ghats
I wanna see you in Kashmir/ladakh , or Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Laxadweep islands, or In North East India like meghalaya, Assam , or Sundarban National park which is the world largest mangrove forest where Royal Bengal tiger and othe animal lives you can to a boat safari there, or Visit any national park which includes car safari.
I didn't meet you 😢. Maybe delhi ?
I’ll be there next week!
trains do be on time in India ... some people have experience of few time ago when trains used to be late..
Yeah I’ve heard some horror stories about late trains haha
I take noise canceling earphones when I go to India. In many places , especially in crowded areas, the noises can reach unbearable levels and in fact can damage your hearing. You would want to reduce the high frequency sounds like horns.
You're in my home country I live in Kolkata at West Bengal
Bro, you switched 2nd and 3rd AC.
We love emtias❤❤❤
There are actually speed limits on different regions, your train must have been on max 110-130 kmph speed as far as i know of that region
Yes, the konkan region is the most difficult terrain & has a speed limit of 120.
If u r still in india, do travel in vande bharat express
Try VANDE BHARAT TRAIN too, they are modern & semi high speed train❤
that just opened right?
@@KFergy yes, there are many routes on which it runs you can check it online
@@yumi-e2olol they were opened for public in 2018
5:45 They recently did that change to shut power because at night if fire outrage happens, it is difficult to recover and it happened once at night.
Are you sure that it was Duronto Express, because I don't think so as Duronto Express' do not have the non-AC sleeper coaches. It must be some other train with the AC First Class coach in which you have travelled.
Glad u r alive lol
Same
4:59 thats actually every train at every single coach not just the one next to the pantry
Hey boss!! You seem to be Leonardo de caprio.
