- I spent some time in Lunenburg Nova Scotia, the gorgeous historic Unesco World Heritage Site. A beautiful town that has also been the backdrop to many famous and popular films and TV shows such as Dolores Caliborne, Locke & Key, The Covenant and many more. Also birthplace of the wooden ship, The Bluenose the great little shops, restaurants, tours and attractions all make this town a popular stop during the summer tourist season.

EXCELLENT!!!! Thank You, Wayne! A well produced and nicely paced video by an adult, for adults. I will be watching many more of your videos. A great find in a sea of kids making videos for other kids. Refreshing!! - Tim C.
Thank you Tim. It means a lot that you appreciate it.
in English Casper Zinck name means tin. The town is named after Lueneburg by its german founders.

Thank you 🤗 Donna!
This sure is bringing back memories. The restaurant at the old fish factory was great
It's a beautiful town. Next time I visit I hope to have more time and money to experience some of the food.
@@Wayneontheroad I liked The old Fish Factory, The Knot, and for breakfast The Savvy Sailor
Great video!
Thank you for watching D.M. Watch for new videos coming soon as I get back on the road in mid May! :) Cheers,
Looks like a beautiful place. Couldn’t help but notice a little huffing & puffing on your walk up the hill LOL What altitude were you flying at for the great drone footage? Still haven’t got mine in the air … will explain in an email.
Yeah, despite dog walks etc 3-4 times a day I'm still outta shape. Too much time at the computer working/editing. I usually keep the drone under the 100 meter mark which is the recommended rule, I think that day was around 80 meters. hope your drone is okay.
@@Wayneontheroad I feel your pain. You’re still in better shape than I am.

I live in Lunenburg
A beautiful place to call home.
I am of German decent and I am correct on Lunenburg. Please do your research. JZinck
Please contact me so we can sort out the history of Lunenburg . The Swedish was also involved and I am back in the 1600,s a descendent of a Swedish Prince. This is interesting and please don’t lead people astray the British might have sent the first settlers there but they we’re basically German and Swedish. I would like to debate you on your info. To me and other Lunenburgers the majority of us
Lunenburgers were of German heritage. Contact me I would like to know who is correct do your research.
Since has Lunenburg been settled by the British I was born brought up there and you are full of Hogg Wash it was a German settlement and hope Casper Zinck don’t leave you sleep tonight but haunts you for misleading information. I am very upset being a decender of Casper Zinck. DO YOUR RESEARCH.
Well Sir I DID do my research and quoted from what I found on WIKIPEDIA. IE: "Lunenburg is a port town on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. Founded in 1753, the town was one of the first British attempts to settle Protestants in Nova Scotia. " . Your German kin may very well have been there in the early days but they were given the land by the British. Thanks for watching though.
