New Roman Catholic Archbishop of Westminster, Archbishop Dr William Godfrey, is enthroned in Westminster Cathedral. GV. Dr William Godfrey walking under a canopy towards the Nave, preceded by Cathedral chaplains, & LV. SV. Archbishop walking under canopy towards the nave. SV. I doubt it. It was 1958, so there was no ecumenism. As far as the Catholic Church was concerned, the C of E was a separated Church, born of the Protestant revolt, with invalid orders and lay people parading around in clericals.
