Oh, a Gilmore Girls deck!! I'd love a walkthrough of the Magical Nature Tarot, please! It reminds me a bit of the Future Ancestors Tarot, which used leaves and a certain type of ink.
Just the title "The Neuroscience of Tarot" got me - I'll have to look into that one, sounds very intersting! So glad you got the Magical Nature Tarot. I have featured it in a couple of my videos as it's one of my all-time favorites for a long while now. It's a special one for me. Thanks for sharing your fun haul! SO I ended up using my nail polish remover a few days ago and it worked beautifully. though it took off the decorative markings off the top when I did it and left the wood feeling a little unfinshed. I was fine with that, though. I buffed the block gently with a nail buffer block and then oiled it really well and it's perfect now! So timely to see your comment now. :) I didn't try the magic eraser, though - that's a good idea!

I started to make a Gilmore Girls Tarot since I doubt a licensed one would come out. I have all of the majors and the most of the pentacles done. I stopped because it’s hard to get the images I need and I don’t have a iPad to draw my own.
I have both Buffy decks and didn’t even notice the eight of chalices! Just the three of pentacles. Insight says they’ll replace the standard cards if they ever reprint and I hope they do. It’s such a good learning deck but that one confused me some.
I get it with the Buffy Tarot. I have their Star Trek TNG Tarot and I would get a better version but also keep the one I have because that's my fandom.
All the changes to the cards and book did Cary over to the mini. Plus the mini is gold gilded edges and does not have the soft touch finish it is not super glossy but is more slippy than the other decks. They are small so it helps with an overhand shuffle. I have some issues riffle shuffling when it's so small so the new card finish was a plus for me.
BUFFY UPDATE Just got an email back from Insight Editions... ohhh about a month ago and they told me they're not fixing the guidebook until they're doing a 2nd printing; and they would inform me when they do it.. would even be nice if you can get a PDF of the updated one.
I'm also reading the Neuroscience and Tarot!!! I'm so stoked that they finally thought of studying how the brain works when a tarot reader looks at a card, it's fascinating!!

You could probably clean the black ink bleed off the wood block with acetone, but I’d try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser first-a little gentler.
