Love this. It's so weird. I've just ordered a little keyboard for my tablet for my morning/bedtime journaling. I've never seen your little gadget... I was in a funk for so long and didn't journal. It's crazy how I seem to punish myself when I'm feeling down and stop all the things I love and the things that heal me. 🌈
Thank you for sharing, Lisa. I like to pull from one deck before bed. I have a daily planner into which I will jot down the card and deck used. I like the Seasons of the Witch decks and "Song of the Grandmothers" for this, too. "When My Soul Whispered," "Elle Qui Oracle" and "Majestic Prairie Oracle" are also favorites of mine.
i decided to make my own bedtime tarot routine from this video! i have been on hiatus from my practice but this video really inspired me to return, since i have been really needing spirit back in my life 💕 my bedtime decks are the goddess love oracle and shadowscapes tarot (with my soul deck crystal visions tarot on the side just in case, i always keep her in my rotations)! i just ended my night with a beautiful, insightful reading and journalled alongside it with my bluetooth keyboard and samsung tablet. typing my thoughts definitely works better for me than the pen and paper even though i've bought countless supplies to journal with, but just like you i am a much faster typist than traditional writer lol! typing out my reading and stream of consciousness genuinely changed the game for me. what a lovely way to end the night! thank you for the inspiration. i have followed your channel for years now and you never fail to inspire me! im off to rewatch your shadowscapes video now! goodnight!! 💤
I love this! I do a lot of journaling throughout the day including writing about my daily card pulls, but I don't really do nighttime reflection. I may have to borrow some of these practices 🥰
Wow. I don't have any practices, religion, or spiritual leaning. I just pull out decks and read for myself and appreciate the tarot system and deck art. Your practice sounds like a lot of work. I just sit calmly with a glass of wine and appreciate life. Good for you that you find ways to structure your use of cartomancy and journaling. It's just beyond me! 💙
My tarot/oracle use oscillates between super casual, pulling a few cards with a cocktail in hand, to a more structured practice similar to what Lisa is showing here. It really depends on my season of life, my energy levels, and what I want from the cards. I think that if I only stuck to one type of practice, I wouldn't use my cards nearly as much as I do. So I guess variety is what keeps me consistent. Lol
@@LCtheCurious As with everything in life, we're all different in how we go about things and that's part of what makes life fun. I so admire Lisa's dedication and passion as well as the way you mix things up! !💙
I have the Power of Surrender cards and I keep trying to integrate them into my practice and it never takes. I like the idea of a little nighttime journaling prompt though. Let's see if that works! Thanks for sharing.
OMG! Great video but also....when u pulled out the Alpha writing machine (?)i had to pause the video...and had a lengthy discussion with my partner about when i upgraded in the 90s to my electronic typewriter and how this BLEW my mind back then! As i havent thought of it in years I loved being reminded....i searched on amazon but cant find this writer. What exactly is it called? That was crazy it brought back so many memories from my teens. 🙏 (also loved the ancestor oracles you used)
Ok i keep talking to my partner about being blown away as I keep watching. And ur totally explaining this e-typewriter...thank u!! I should of finished before excitedly rambling 🤣🍁🌈🙏
Thanks for sharing this with us! 💖 Love the distraction free device for journaling. What solo role playing game are you playing?!?! 🥰 I'm just starting Apothecaria and really enjoying it.

Oh boy, I relate to that! It's easiest to abandon self-care when we need it the most!!
@@Lisa_Papez damn. I needed to hear this today
I feel this too hard..
Thank you for sharing, Lisa.

Oooh great picks!
I don't have a bedtime reading routine but I think I need to find a nighttime deck. ❤
I've been wanting to establish a bedtime practice, and this video gave me some great ideas. Thank you!
You're so welcome!
For keycaps - have a look for XDA profile keycaps. They have a much lower profile and will maybe be a little closer to what you’re looking for.
Oooooh good tip. I ended up putting the stock keycaps back on and just ... practicing.. .and now i'm really used to them and can type well on it!

My before bed practice is currently playing with pairs and seeing what comes up. I do want to start actually journaling about it.

Do you or can you make a video on cards with key words and a description. Like a list of your favorite and what’s out there. Both oracle and tarot.

Apawthecaria is my fave so far. Hoping to start Thousand-Year-Old Vampire soon! :)

I really dislike the seasons of the witch 👎 unpopular opinion lol but I love your example nighttime practise
