You have a wonderful technique and a “singing tone”‘with your playing.
I can only repeat what others have said: a wonderful performance! I want to add that the intimate acoustic adds to the enjoyment. Excellent video and sound recording. I also like that the chosen title starts with the composer, not by highlighting the performer. Hopefully, we'll get to hear Beethoven's other four piano concertos played by this artist!

Aunque parezca absurdo, estimo lo mas "Beethoveniano" de este concierto son los primeros 3 minutos antes de entrar el piano. El dialogo de los instrumentos de viento y la fuerza vibrante de las cuerdas es absolutamente hermoso y típico de Beethoven
Eduardo, ¿podrías aclarar tu observación? Significa que los 27 minutos siguientes serían menos (¿?) Beethovenianos que los primeros?
(Lo anterior se envió fuera de mi control, perdón).
De estilos musicales entiendo poco y nada; soy perezoso, me limito a disfrutar los sonidos. Si te refieres a que este concierto tiene elementos de Mozart, Haydn y no-sabría-decir-quién-más, ¡más vale! y creo que no tiene nada de malo porque en cualquier momento surgen originalidades Beethovenianos. - Si apuntas a otra cosa, me gustaría entenderte.
De este concierto me llaman la atención el hecho de la conducción por un primer violín en vez de un director, y la, poco común, cortesía de la pianista al saludar a la orquesta antes que a la audiencia.

@@dinulipati Absolutamente no. lo que quiero decir , es que escuchando esta parte inicial uno sabe que es Beethoven sin duda, la fuerza ,la estructura etc, un maravilla.

@@dinulipati En concierto #1es la misma estructura , en los tres primeros minutos la 0rquesta toca las dos o tres frases que luego se desarrollaran entre el solista y orquesta (.ruclips.net/video/ogkon_oNXmo/видео.html.) En conciertos posteriores cambia, por ejemplo en El emperador el solista parte con tutti junto con la orquesta ..

I am a friend of the pianist, Lilian Akopova, and I'm happy to answer your question.
It is a great tradition from the time of the creation of the great classical works that orchestras, especially in the formation of chamber orchestras, play standing music. Except for the cellos, all members of the orchestra stand. This is a gesture of respect for the soloist, but it also has a physical reason: in an upright position, the musician's breathing is freer and his body gets more oxygen.
And, don't you think that the overall picture of the stage, focussed on the piano and the pianist, makes a highly concentrated impression?
