Thanks for the video. Big fan of bonfire here. Typically feld games dont' need expansions but I will get it for this one as well. I like that basically all of the modules are easy to implement (even the third one), as it just adds a little more complexity to that action and something good to worry about. Really love the asymmetric powers, will probably want to play with those every time. I'm surprised that the first module was made random, maybe because it's just something that is beneficial. However, seems like a simple house rule, such as having an open set of cards to choose from, will give players at least an idea of what events could come up.
True, the modules are all easy to implement - even the Trees, and they just add to an action you are already taking. You could easily house rule the event deck so you can see what is coming up (maybe even just keep one "on deck" so the current event and the next event are face up). Thanks for watching!
Too bad about the event deck. Its something Im normally a big fan off, but my first thought was the same as you said. Seems too random and situation dependent.
Shame the other modules aren't as good as the trees one but still an interesting expansion. Seems like something I'll pick up eventually, just not on day one
Love Bonfire, today received the Extension. Looking forward also to include the 5th player
We love Bonfire! Looking forward to getting this.
Thanks for reviewing the expansion. Excited to get the base game to the table

I will just assume I am going to get this before watching the video. Didn't know it was a thing.
Has Graeme ever been in studio?
I have not been to the studio, one of these days though!
