i decided to not get any info before i play the game, gonna watch your review after i play it at least for like a week lol :) i really hope it's at least as good as P4 golden, have you played this one or even just P4?
Best reviewer as always. This is gonna be my first Persona game and I'm really looking forward to it, especially since Bioware committed suicide with ME Andromeda.
I play a lot of RPG's but haven't played Persona before. I was going to start on hard, will I be OK or does the game screw you over too much? You mentioned the game being a little frustrating on harder difficulties in the review.
In an age where JRPG's aren't quite sure what they want to be anymore, the Persona games have always been rock solid, assuming the Japanese aesthetic of some elements doesn't put you off entirely. Personally I enjoy the quirky character of Japanese games, though I'm highly critical of their trope-laden nature; but when they get it right, it's a very unique and interesting experience. I don't usually order day 1, but this will be an exception.
I started at person 3 and played it late, I did prefer it to 4, although most tend to go with 4 I just thought the characters had better story archs in 3 and I'm big on story but 5 could possibly take my top spot looking at this. If you haven't already and you like JRPG get nier automata, I can't recommend this game enough. Probably my favourite ps4 title, considering budget that is a bold statement but it ticked almost every box for me. Don't be put off with its length, the second play through is quite different and the third play through continues where the first and second finish. It's a big game and will easily take 40 hours to finish the full story maybe longer (that's without side quests and without seeing all the smaller endings.
I wish they remaster the previous Persona's so I can get to dive full in. As for Nier, I haven't played it yet but it's on the very top of my buy list, the game just screams unique and never seen before experience.
Seriously, one of my favorite things to do in the old Persona games (3 and 4) is to give new players the combination of Personae to create Mara. Then I just stare at them with a huge smartass smile and gauge their reaction as they discover they just created a giant chariot dick monster.
Thanatos420 Which odd thing is did you know him and bondage angel are the only major reasons this franchise gets an M meanwhile in Japan and Europe they get the equivalent of a T rateing and yet one of the most dark and violent entries in the Franchise both Devil Survivor games and their remakes get rated T? So billions of innocent people being slaughtered is ok but a giant green monster that looks like a dick means any one under the age of 17 needs an adult to buy the game for them -_- What is logic?
Do a google search for "SMT genital demons" for greater detail of the history of such monsters in this series. Maybe NSFW, though none of it is overtly offensive...
I remember P4 actually taught me things. I feel like Persona is just one of few series that treats social relationships and level or strength in the same vein. It's somehow refreshing that a game requires you to work at relationships as much as grinding and uses the psychosis of others as dungeons. I mean in P4 helping your friends overcome fears and personal struggles felt way better than saving the world, galaxy, village. Even if it feels like it's using the same formula, it still seems fresh as compared to other games in the genre.
Chris Loya i asked him a while back and he said. "usually if I beat a game I review it" so no plans yet but I guess he will eventually buy the switch and review it. but who knows hope this satiated your thirst gormz answers
As a gamer on the bottom end of the equity to spend on games chart, I have to really pick and choose my games. I've forsaken ME:A and Horizon Zero Dawn to get Persona 5. Haven't been this intrigued since Okami. This is also my first Persona, says a lot about what Atlus is doing.
GodTheBear The Megami Tensei franchise is diverse and pretty good in general, and Atlus is one of the most consistent companies nowadays. If you ever have the time you should give older entries a try.
PSNstore digital downloads 2018 Black Friday/ Christmas deals $10 Titanfall2 , 10 Battlefield 1 , 10 AC Unity , 7 Last of Us Remastered , 6 Mad Max , 3 God of War 3 remastered . On ps3 : 2 God of War (1+2) , 1.5 GoW Ascension , 4 Jak and Daxter (all 3 ) , 3 Saints Row , 2 Saints Row 2 Gamestop physical Pre-Owned discs = 5 Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain, 5 CoD Advanced Warfare , 5 CoD Infinite Warfare , 5 Shadow of Mordor , 8 FF15 , 8 Batman Arkham Knight. Me procrastinating so long on buying a PS4 has led to so many deals ... Seeing this kinda makes me hate myself for buying anything $60,50,40,30 anything in the past. Really only 2 or 3 are games that i don't regret buying $60-30 in the last 10 years. Usually takes forever before the Japanese games goes on a discount tho
ACG I really enjoy your reviews, they're very thorough and well thought out. No bs you just tell it like it is XD Can't wait till April 4th, Persona 5, Breath of the Wild and NieR: Automata are going to keep me busy for a very long time.
I can't start any more gigantic games right now. I'll get this game eventually, but I just can't start another huge RPG or adventure game. I've still got Yakuza 0 and Hitman behind some of the other stuff that just came out. I don't have enough time for these huge games. I think a remaster of FF XII is coming out in a month or so, too. Getting swamped with huge RPGs.
AKSBSU Yeah I hear ya, but this game is definitely a must play at some point down the line when you have more time ^^ I'm going to be so busy with Nier: Automata, Breath of the Wild, and Persona 5 that I'll have little time if any for other games XD I'm not complaining though because all of them will be amazing experiences. Hell Nier is already becoming one of my favorite games I've played in a long time (as well as BotW) and I haven't even beat it yet.
Been playing persona since high school so being able to play another as i go through college is a dream come true. Thanks for the early review Karak, i really like the direction they took with this one.
yep i been waiting since PS2 days Persona 4 was amazing, glad Golden came out, but my body is ready for new Persona game. Catherine art style is really nice, will be getting DLC for different costumes to change battle theme sound track.
Alan Garcia I ussually express myself well in english. I'm from Argentina, I don't have to talk/write in english as well as those who were born in the US/UK/Canada,etc. It was a relatively "small" mistake anyway.
Whether I already know what I'm getting myself into or not, I always enjoy your reviews Karak. They reflect on titles I have prior experience with or Inform me on those I'm completely new to. Thorough, informative, and humorous. Good job man and more power to you!
You sir, are my go to Game reviewer besides Angry Joe. i just love how you detail every bit of information without being bias to the game. IGN n Gamespot can jump off a cliff....
He is an amazing reviewer and also i have heard that ign and gamespot showed a scene which was a huge spoiler so if you don't want the game to be spoiled don't watch those reviews.
You sound like the exact reason game reviews are complete shit these days. Doesn't know how to rate games? Ratings are completely subjective, Angry Joe's ratings are his ratings and his alone. ACG talks too much? What else are you supposed to do other than talk in a game "review"?
It's a testament to the quality of these reviews that I take the time to watch one like this, where I go in knowing the game isn't for me. Awesome job as always, and to Persona fans, enjoy!
Really fucking good man. You just have something. My wife hates games and their ancillary content, but she loves your oratory and will actually sit and watch with me. I'm sure you get thanked all the time, but I wanted to thank you myself. Your content means a lot to many people.
I've already made up my mind with P5 as I'm a big fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series even before they evolved to what we have right now. But it's always good to get your seal of approval on the game as well. I have to say that I'm a tad jealous that you already own a full copy of the game, thanks for the review as usual!
I really love your review, ACG. Every time I am curious about a game I immediately search RUclips to see if you have made a review of the game. Thank you for being so thorough - without spoiling the story.
this was my first persona and i finished the game at over 100 hrs in like 2 weeks while working a full time job. havent been so hooked on a game since i was a kid in the ps1 days
As someone who's grown tired of the whole FPS type games and is seeking new and exciting titles to play Persona 5 is one I'm truly excited about. Could next week get here already!
I've never played a Persona game until three weeks ago, I bought Persona 4 golden on a discount, and I shall say, I don't regret any single minute I spent playing the game, and now I have no doubt I'll play the shit out of Persona 5!
AHH I've been waiting for this so long! Ever since I bought P4G for PS Vita 4 years ago (subsequently playing through it 6ish times and P3), I knew P5 would be a game I would love. Shame about the controls and repetitive music, although that is also a recurring theme in the series, P3's music can occasionally grind on me. Roll on September when I can actually play it! For me the joy of the game is getting to know your teammates, and the incredible attention to detail in world building (minus those guy's in suits apparently, damnnn). I only wish it was available for the PS Vita also, it makes for such a perfect handheld game. Another enjoyable, balanced, and informative review, thanks Karak.
Thanks for yet another great review Karak. In my (and likely many other people's) opinion your content offers stuff from the next epoch in comparison to most other reviewers (certainly the most well known ones). Thank you again
Now i can rest assure that i made a right decision preordering Persona 5 Take Your Heart Edition instead of FFXV or Andromeda. Didn't know you like JRPG tho lol, but as always, another awesome review :D
For people who never tried a Persona (I played all the saga including Eternal Punishment): first you must ask yourself if you are ok with japanese style, turn-based RPGs and mature and psychic themes. Persona is a concept developped by Carl Jung who explained that peope change attitude in society, that's why there is cognitive world, supernatural and the theme of masks. For maturity, we're not talking about sex or such: murders, rapes, blackmail or such are in. As example, in the intro like 80 people die or are severly hurt because of a metro driver that went crazy.
As always, great review! Difficult to explain Persona to someone who has never touched it but you did an excellent job. Great game for those that like a deep story and exploring social constructs.
so seems like you've played the series before im thinking of picking this up for my younger brother bills had me strapped for cash x-mass/birthday time lol. anyway he really enjoyed blue dragon and star ocean games do you think the persona series is close enough to warrant a pickup?
Gotta say, I really like your approach to reviewing games. While not being 100% intuitive I feel like you have a level, unbiased head on your shoulders and know what to look for in games in order to properly review them. Cheers!
Hey ACG, just want to say I really appreciate the work you put into these videos, your channel is one of the very few that I always watch out for new content.
So, Zelda, Persona 5, Read Dead Redemption 2, Nioh, Nier Automata and Horizon Zero Dawn battling for GOTY, but only 5 will be nominated in most magazines.
I guess the best thing I can say about your reviews Karak is that I'm never left unsure about whether I'd like the game or whether it's worth my time and money. You pack an impressive amount of information into a reasonable length and do it in a structured, smart, and cohesive way that is both entertaining and comprehensive. Everyone says it about their favorite RUclips channels but I really feel like you're the best at what you out there right now. On a side note. I'll be picking this up for sure.
The whole faceless thing for crowds is to basically make you and the supporting cast stand out, also to make it almost seem desolate, like those people aren't really there, or that they've lost something.
Hey, first video from your channel, To give some perspective I got into the Persona series from the Persona 4 anime and have been following ever since and I have absolutely preordered this game (one of the few I have preordered because I usually dislike the practice). I just have to say thank you for giving this completely honest review because every review I have seen up to this point has been glowing but I have a hard time telling whether it was actually that insane or just Persona fans just glad they finally have their new Persona game
Great review, and the Satriani shout-out made me laugh. I somehow still can't decide if I'd love or hate this game so I'll be waiting for a price drop somewhere down the line. Thanks for the video.
I've heard nothing but good things about this game. I've practically been searching for problems. It's a relief to see some problems it has. No game is without flaw. This video was awesome and very informative. even with that being said, I'm buying this fucking game.
You know, I've seen a few videos recommended to me but never actually watched them, I am glad I watched this one because your videos are very informative and funny. So thank you for the effort and time you put into making these videos, you should know it's really appreciated!
Real recognition as in a game that fans will cherish for years? No. However see also *any* comments section which tells you what's really important which is that it will generate a plethora of lip service from video game windsocks and more importantly a ton money for ATLUS.
This video, at the time of typing, has nearly as many views as Gamespot's review. You absolutely deserve it. Keep up the stellar work, and all the best for the future.
Heya Karak, got a fav pc rpg so far this year? Having a hard time getting into anything since Pillars of eternity and Witcher 3 (already played Divinity original sin) and not a gun rpg game fan, I know, picky right?
Thanks for the honest, and complete review. A lot of reviews online failed to go into the nitty gritty, and list the negative aspects. As much as I'm hyped for Persona, I hated how a lot of reviews just gawked, and praised the game. Glad it's overall a buy though :) On a personal note, have you played the PSX Persona titles, or the older SMT games? Appreciate you taking the time to fully go through the game! You're a top tier reviewer, keep it up!
I honestly think the way pedestrians are drawn was an artistic decision. The game is all about how perception is reality and when you’re walking around, especially as a moody teenager with a lot on your mind, everyone just sort of blends in to the background. Random people are just human shapes slumping past you, you don’t pick out unique features or see them as individuals. But hey, maybe that’s just me.
I have been playing Persona since Persona 3 and I do love the quality of life improvements they have added over the years. At least the 100 hours of play time won't be bogged down in cumbersome and sometimes slow menu systems of the past games, but rather in activities and well thought out dungeons. I am sure the mementos will help retain the nostalgic feel of the past procedurally generated dungeons as well.
How do the characters compare to previous titles? I'm not much of a JRPG player but I played and enjoyed Persona 4 Golden on the PS Vita, and my favorite part was hands down the characters, and how fun they were to interact with and take on missions.
good to see you reviewing this game, I will finish to watch it as soon as I get home(I'm in job atm). would you say this game is a must have if someone is a fan of the jrpgs?
great review. you appreciate the really weird stuff (enemy types and decisions) that would likely not appeal to a less seasoned reviewer. thumbs up to you my man.
"The worst part of the Persona 5 soundtrack is that there is not enough soundtrack."
~ ACG
Done XD
He's right though. Really not enough music for traversing through the city. Hope they fix that with Persona 5 R
Fuck, the backlog is getting ridiculous. Horizon, Nier, now this. They need to make a new day of the week specifically for playing games.
Scott Lynn
it's a great problem to have. Ps4 has a greatly varied library of games and basically something for everyone.
True
Antiform definitely not true
preach brotha!!!
But if it's just one more week in a year, you only get 7 straight days. If you have a new day in the week, you look forward to next week so you can continue playing, and you get a total of 52 days in a year.
You know a game is good when an 8/10 is a bad score for persona 5
lol true
probably only got that score cause of the frame drops.
Ravage TheLegend
Just like Zelda BotW. It scored 10/10 but in fact its not enough. Should have been 15/10
more like 5/10 zelda breath is pretty boring and i didnt like it
NJHS92 that's the beauty of opinions. :)
My thoughts.
A very well done game with a couple issues when it comes to sound and presentation.
Insanely long while always adding new elements rocks
Also sorry that I sound a bit weird. Recorded in a different area due to construction
i decided to not get any info before i play the game, gonna watch your review after i play it at least for like a week lol :)
i really hope it's at least as good as P4 golden, have you played this one or even just P4?
Best reviewer as always. This is gonna be my first Persona game and I'm really looking forward to it, especially since Bioware committed suicide with ME Andromeda.
Did the HUD not bother you?
It covers like 40% of the screen and it seems like it'd get in the way.
I also forgot to ask, is the main character silent? As in, you only get the written response from him?
I play a lot of RPG's but haven't played Persona before. I was going to start on hard, will I be OK or does the game screw you over too much? You mentioned the game being a little frustrating on harder difficulties in the review.
In an age where JRPG's aren't quite sure what they want to be anymore, the Persona games have always been rock solid, assuming the Japanese aesthetic of some elements doesn't put you off entirely. ya very solid
This is gonna be my first Persona game, looks like a fun experience.
good time to jump in

Square: "FFXV is going to take the JRPG throne"
Atlus: ........Hold my beer
lol
ff15 is fuckin awful.
Perky Bellsprout Exactly....thank god someone realized that.
Aqua hahaha thats what they thought. We need persona to take the crown or else itll force japanese devs to do DLC and cut content.
Pirikko nope its fucking garbage. FACTS
This will be my first Persona game and can't wait to play it.
enjoy great title
Dominik Oroz If you like it, definitely play Persona 3 and 4
Dominik Oroz have fun
If you enjoy then for sure go back and check the others. Persona 4 is a miniature masterpiece.
Ugh getting sick of people keep mentioning P4 only like it's the best thing ever and underappreciated P3 and P2. Heck, thrown in P1 why the hell not.
lol the moment my phone notify me this, I had drop my phone in excitement
LET THE PERSONA REVIEWS BEGAN!!!!
enjoy
You know a game is good when one of the summons is literally a dick shaped monster...
hahaha indeed
Seriously, one of my favorite things to do in the old Persona games (3 and 4) is to give new players the combination of Personae to create Mara. Then I just stare at them with a huge smartass smile and gauge their reaction as they discover they just created a giant chariot dick monster.

been this way ever since smt2 loool
My biggest criticism is how slow it is to get into the swing of things, I stuck at it and really enjoying it.
I can't wait for this, my most anticipated game this year.
enjoy it!
Thanks man, your reviews as always are the best around. Keep up the awesome work.
LordKaido this game is getting a lot of praise right now is at 94 in metacritic
DarkKnight896 same lol XD this will probably be the only one I get for any of my consoles because I usual just play on PC.
faxx
Ah....bathing with old men.... one of my favorite pastimes

I try. I can't with everyone but I try
ACG will there be a Zelda BOTW review? Or is there a video you already put up regarding this?

I already played Persona 3 and Persona 4 Golden. So far, Persona 5 is the best among them. Atlus really done a good job.
Good! I haven't played any past persona games so I thought I was bias when I said Persona 5 os one the best games ever and I'm addicted to it.
He mentioned Joe Satriani. He knows who he is. I like this guy.
i do and thanks
Glad Joe Satriani is getting some love
StllBreathnBut_Y yes, joe satriani, the piece of shit guitar virtuoso that makes shit music, eyyyy
I love the comment section of your channel, Karak. No silly console wars in here and it feels so good! *claps to everyone*

Wait what- Karak doing a review on my most anticipated game of 2017!?? I've never clicked a video so fast in my life XD

Never seen a review video with 2.3k views and not a single dislike.
they will happen
ACG - they shouldn't. Twas a grand review.
The Persona fanbase is very Rabid, lovely people haha.
There will always be a couple ME:A and GR:W fans who are salty af xD

THE WAIT IS OVER
ACG I'm still waiting for a remake of Nocturne and the New HD Shin Megami Tensei game for Switch but I'm still happy for this :)
yep i been waiting since PS2 days Persona 4 was amazing, glad Golden came out, but my body is ready for new Persona game. Catherine art style is really nice, will be getting DLC for different costumes to change battle theme sound track.
blackstarGOaT I was looking for you :') so was I.... So was I...
blackstarGOaT Me too even playing the old persona games. Just 3 more days.
Another CoD rip off!? Jesus, such a generic gaming industry these days...
SH4D0WXR33CONt1 Battlefield actually beated CoD last year by 100k units or so, so it's time to start saying "battlefield Rip-off".
Xehanz "Beated"? Ok. Grammar much?
Xehanz do you English even?
Alan Garcia I ussually express myself well in english. I'm from Argentina, I don't have to talk/write in english as well as those who were born in the US/UK/Canada,etc.
It was a relatively "small" mistake anyway.
SH4D0WXR33CONt1 at least the boots are on the ground
I immediately checked your channel for the review, I don't even watch other reviews anymore! your reviews are so good! thank you!
Without of a shadow this channel will reach a million subs by the end of 2017!
Lets make it happen! because we can all agree this Chanel deserves it. Its like the people choice.
This channel and Easy Allies is all I really need, honestly.
Ali Malik totally!
You were wrong
Wow, for some reason I didn't think you'd be reviewing this. Happy to see you enjoyed it!
thanks

I woke up, saw this video, never heard of persona before, bought it, love it. I only remember Atlus from Snowboard Kids..
Yakuza, Zelda, Nier, Persona I NEED 60-HOUR DAYS
granted
Really fucking good man. You just have something. My wife hates games and their ancillary content, but she loves your oratory and will actually sit and watch with me. I'm sure you get thanked all the time, but I wanted to thank you myself. Your content means a lot to many people.
my thanks Shimmy.

But it's always good to get your seal of approval on the game as well. I have to say that I'm a tad jealous that you already own a full copy of the game, thanks for the review as usual!
well it cost me an arm and a leg so no need for being jealous
why did it cost you an arm and a leg?
I listened to this review 3 times. Damn good job. This will be my 1st Persona and my 1st turn base since 97 or 98.
thanks beats
I really love your review, ACG. Every time I am curious about a game I immediately search RUclips to see if you have made a review of the game. Thank you for being so thorough - without spoiling the story.
Oh my God... 12:55 I think this is the first I've heard an American pronounce "Yakuza" correctly. Thank You :)
I think you just convinced me to buy my first Persona game. Thanks for the good review
enjoiy
Going to be my first Persona game - I can't wait! Going to play this instead of Horizon and Nier. They can wait a bit still!
enjoy
TheRealJonster how did u like it?
I'm also curious for an update
did u rike it?
this was my first persona and i finished the game at over 100 hrs in like 2 weeks while working a full time job. havent been so hooked on a game since i was a kid in the ps1 days
As someone who's grown tired of the whole FPS type games and is seeking new and exciting titles to play Persona 5 is one I'm truly excited about. Could next week get here already!
First play through I clocked in at 130 hours! Worth the money and great experience
Didn't know you like JRPG tho lol, but as always, another awesome review :D
enjoy it man
+ACG For sure man, you also keep up doing the good stuff like usual and i'm sure you'll hit 500k subs in no time :D
don't worry the bag in the collector is really useful, I'm game master of tabletop RPGs and I can put crapton of stuff in
For people who never tried a Persona (I played all the saga including Eternal Punishment): first you must ask yourself if you are ok with japanese style, turn-based RPGs and mature and psychic themes.
+Rob M (Nonamegamer93) it's worth it man!
Thanks the other reviews I saw all say the same thing I'll pick it up for him hope he enjoys it :)
Rob M no problem. If you have a PS Vita I suggest you play persona 4 golden it was a great game too.
Sadly I don't anymore.
Gotta say, I really like your approach to reviewing games. While not being 100% intuitive I feel like you have a level, unbiased head on your shoulders and know what to look for in games in order to properly review them. Cheers!
thanks
Lately i've been thinking "I can wait a while before i get this..."
Then i watched your review and i want to get it on day one.
Hey ACG, just want to say I really appreciate the work you put into these videos, your channel is one of the very few that I always watch out for new content.
you rock man
Wait... a review of P5 from ACG? I never clicked any faster until today. I was not expecting this. T_T
Thanks a lot for not doing any real spoilers of events in the review :)
I'll be picking this up for sure.
my thanks!
been waiting 5 years have had it preordered for a year never been so hyped for a game
The whole faceless thing for crowds is to basically make you and the supporting cast stand out, also to make it almost seem desolate, like those people aren't really there, or that they've lost something.
Played on ps4 original, didn't notice any framerate drop or stuttering at all.
good for you man
Hey, first video from your channel, To give some perspective I got into the Persona series from the Persona 4 anime and have been following ever since and I have absolutely preordered this game (one of the few I have preordered because I usually dislike the practice). I just have to say thank you for giving this completely honest review because every review I have seen up to this point has been glowing but I have a hard time telling whether it was actually that insane or just Persona fans just glad they finally have their new Persona game
my thanks man
PS4 is killing it
No, 2017 is killing it.
Great review, and the Satriani shout-out made me laugh. I somehow still can't decide if I'd love or hate this game so I'll be waiting for a price drop somewhere down the line. Thanks for the video.
no joke this game reminds me so much of catherine. like the art is exactly the same holy shit.
Pompeii ポンペイ made by the same developers
lordguy666 it's the same team
Pompeii ポンペイ The Persona Team made Catherine.
And like pretty much any other Japanese anime game.
those games have literally the same art guy
As a long time fan, I completely understand your frustrations with this latest Persona and really enjoyed the video. Pre-order confirmed!👍🏽
Immediately I can feel the same style In Catherine!
yep
Justice In Gaming_JIG It's almost as if it was made by the same people.
Justice In Gaming_JIG Catherine was a game engine test for this game
Nice. Catherine was such a cool, hot unique game. But pretty short! (((
Wasn't until quite recently I discovered you ACG, but I'm glad I did. These are some high quality reviews you do.
Keep up the good work man!
thanks Avid
I've heard nothing but good things about this game. I've practically been searching for problems. It's a relief to see some problems it has. No game is without flaw. This video was awesome and very informative.
even with that being said, I'm buying this fucking game.
Cracking review as per usual! Pretty much the only person around who bothers to review things properly, and with wit and insight! Thanks man!
thanks man
Even though it would be impossible I wish this game was available on the vita like persona 4.
not yet but maybe one day
You know, I've seen a few videos recommended to me but never actually watched them, I am glad I watched this one because your videos are very informative and funny.
So thank you for the effort and time you put into making these videos, you should know it's really appreciated!
You are such a good reviewer
Never played persona game, but seems interesting.
thanks
so awesome to see you review this. One of my most anticipated this year
thanks sloan
Just bought it on the ps4, thanks Karak!
Less than two hours out from release and im hyped af. Thanks for the review ACG! You're my new favorite reviewer :)
I wish this game had DLC. I miss these people!! I would throw my whole bank account at them.
Always look forward to your incredibly detailed reviews. Keep up the great work, man.
thank you
Top tier review as always. I was wondering do you believe this game Will get the same recognition as p3p and p4 golden.
no clue on that sorry
Real recognition as in a game that fans will cherish for years? No. However see also *any* comments section which tells you what's really important which is that it will generate a plethora of lip service from video game windsocks and more importantly a ton money for ATLUS.
I've been waiting for a Persona 5 ever since Persona 4 in 2008. Played about 5 hours today and already love it. So awesome that it finally came out.
2008-2017 i've waited soooooo f'king long!!!!
indeed
Awesome review :) My Ps4 library will grow some more. As always love the time, depth, and no filter reviews. Keep them coming good Sir.
thanks
Your very welcome. Thank you for the hours upon hours of time to put out high quality content ;). OI just hope the channel grows and grows.
Thanks for the review man I did have some doubts about getting this but I am almost certain I will buy it now.
you bet
ACG+ Just letting you know I got the game almost done with it and I put over 100+ hours love the game :D
"You basically wreck their shit completely "
Love your reviews man
this scoring system is MUCH more helpful than arbitrary numbers
thanks Justin
I loved your reviews dude! Very in-depth and not afraid to get into the nitty gritty! Great job!
thank you
I think the music in this game is amazing my god if only there was more
This video, at the time of typing, has nearly as many views as Gamespot's review.
You absolutely deserve it. Keep up the stellar work, and all the best for the future.
thanks
Good lord this is the year of excellent RPGs
yes indeed
Heya Karak, got a fav pc rpg so far this year? Having a hard time getting into anything since Pillars of eternity and Witcher 3 (already played Divinity original sin) and not a gun rpg game fan, I know, picky right?
Ok but lets be honest, who the hell actually grew tired of the songs? 3 playthroughs in and i still jam to every single song
You're a top tier reviewer, keep it up!
you bet man.
Haven't tried any of the games, just intrigued at how the game looks. Should i buy?
Superb review, had me chuckle a couple of times as usual. Great humor, as always! Your comparisons are always gold!
Huh... I was not interested in Persona 5 at all..that being said, I am now!
Will be my first entry in the series, wish me luck.
good luck
How do the characters compare to previous titles? I'm not much of a JRPG player but I played and enjoyed Persona 4 Golden on the PS Vita, and my favorite part was hands down the characters, and how fun they were to interact with and take on missions.
Thanks for the review, sucks that I don't have a ps4 :(
you bet
its also on ps3
Godly you can get the game for PS3 aswell
i dont have a ps3 either, also console gaming doesnt really make sense for me at the moment, can only really play games on pc :(
It's also for the PS3
good to see you reviewing this game, I will finish to watch it as soon as I get home(I'm in job atm). would you say this game is a must have if someone is a fan of the jrpgs?
Great review as always.
thanks
Yutaka5000 Greatness is almost here
Yutaka5000 yo musashi
great review. you appreciate the really weird stuff (enemy types and decisions) that would likely not appeal to a less seasoned reviewer. thumbs up to you my man.
thanks
So, no reason to cancel my pre-order (while I have time). Thanks.
indeed
This will be my very first Persona game and this review sold me on it. Thanks, Karak!
