Without Cancelo we might not have made it so far this season. We would've been doomed the moment Balde got injured.
We can't just turn on players after a bad spell. We know his strengths and weaknesses, so it's the coaching staffs' job to utilize them.
On many occasions after a bad performance by a player Barca Media made a video to explain how we don't need that player. Kounde, Pedri, FDJ, and now Cancelo.
Marcelo was sh!t at defending throughout his time at RM, yet they made use of his best strengths to cover for the weaknesses.
Cancelo is a great player and i think it is in our best interest to keep him at the club. He can be useful in so many positions.

THANK YOU, someone with sense. There is a reason pep didnt want him anymore. Cancelo cannot be trusted in big matches. Everyone in here are excusing his horrific errors because hes not a “great defender” but that doesnt excuse his horrific man marking, his errors on the ball, and his misjudgment of tackles that essentially cost barca dearly in their two biggest matches of the season. Once you let lucas vazquez do what he did, you are done in my eyes. I say bet on balde fort and faye next season and let cancelo go.
It would be amazing if grimaldo comes to barca, but I know it is not likely. Cancelo is very good at attacking, maybe we should make him a wide player?

I wasn't confused.... Balde was playing really bad, his decision making was really off compared to his previous season. It looked like he relaxed after alba left and no longer had to compete with him. So Cancelo in the team was and is a good thing.
I am not buying Grimaldo, because the best chance to buy him for free was last season.
We need to scout other options. And start trusting Balde because he is the present and future

It is just so unfair to judge a player from this one week.
Cancelo has been great for the majority of the season, he has scored some important goals for us, always demonstrated his desire and gratitude to the club.
Also remember that he barely had any rest (or competition) since Balde's injury.
I really hope we can negotiate a good deal with MC and keep him. He is experienced, versatile, technically gifted and understands the game really well.
I also hope that next year he will have more competition from Balde (and maybe Faye, who I'd like to see as LB).

Loan Canceló again and use him as a LW. With him a Raphinha rotating the LW problem is solved.
Use Balde and Kounde as our starters, Fort/Valle/Faye rotation players. Fullback problem solved. The only reason we would need a fullback is more experience in our rotations but it’s not a necessity if balde comes back in good shape.
Sign Bernardo and limit Lamine’s minutes to protect him, use Raphinha for specific games that benefit him on the left or right. All wing problems solved.
Reduce lewandoskis minutes and use Ferran/Roque/Guiu more. They’re all different profiles that are useful for different games. Striker problem solved.
Sign a world class pivot and rotate with Christensen while giving Casado some minutes Pivot problem solved.
We only NEED a good LW, someone like Bernardo to not turn Yamal into a Fati and a pivot. Anything else is a luxury.
That also gives us players that can perform in many positions and good depth, not even including some of the players we have or FDJ since their es rumors they want to sell again:
- Raphinha and Lamine can do both wings
- Ferran can play the wings and central,
- Bernardo can play the wing or drop in as an 8
- Pedri/Gavi/Gundo/Fermin/Bernardo are all 8’s
- a Zubimendi type player with Christensen as back-up, Casado getting minutes and Gundogan and Gavi both doing decent there is stacked
- Araujo/Cubarsi/Faye/Christensen (when not playing as a pivot) covers defense without including Inigo/Garcia/Riad who are all still options until they’re gone for sure. Kounde as needed since he’ll be a RB
- Kounde, Balde, Fort, Valle, Faye (as needed) as fullbacks is GTG barring any injuries which is where another fullback could come in but other players that need minutes would lose minutes
Cancelo is good in attack but not in defense why not turn him to a winger in a 4-1-4-1 with Cancelo as a lmf

My opinion is NO. Remember the Villareal game as well. Not fully reliable. Those are the most determining moments and he makes silly mistakes.
To compare Cancelo and Kounde in defense is just stupid. It is the job of a coach to assess a team and structure it accordingly. Felix wants to play more inside. Raph can work hard. Cancelo must be guarded. Kounde wants to be CB. Frankie needs a double pivot. So why not play a 3-4-3 that fits most profiles instead of forcing a system on players that doesn't fit (no real LW, no RB, no CDM). And suggesting Grimaldo must be a big joke 😂. He can't defend, they play a 3-4-3 system that covers for that.

Ive been telling myself this before the leg 1 of the UCL against psg. When i watch the quality forwards psg had i told myself the problem we may have at the back is cancelo. I was worried. He did ok in the first keg but for me goin forward he was in effective. The secondleg came and that is history. I was fuming at cancelo. I appriciate wat he has done duing the season but this kind of display has to stop wen goin up agaist tough opposition.

I don't know if you are right... First of all I don't know if Counde want to play as standard RB, second he isn't that better than Cancelo (defence yeah, attack no). So left back Balde who isn't that much good, injured etc. Why should he leave? We don't have other player that can play RB and LB if Balde gets injured again. Than our RB is only Counde and no one wants to see Araujo as RB! If that happens, who should play as CB? Christensen and Coubarsi, ok but when one of them is injured then what? Inigo is also injured and he's old. With this amount of games, we need all players to have at least 1 or more subs. LB is now Cancelo and Balde, RB is Cancelo and Counde, we are short with players if he leaves, because Sergi Roberto FINALY goes!

The whole title of this video is unfair. When Cancelo was saving us and putting up 8/10 and 9/10 performances we didn’t see videos with such a title. Besides why aren’t we seeing videos titled “Araujo showed us his true colors against PSG” mind you he basically got us knocked out of the champions league.
