How to Create Negative Space and Finding its Volume in SOLIDWORKS?

To create a negative space in any SOLIDWORKS Part, first we have to create the sketch, next we have provide the dimensions, then we will add the relations to the sketch, and finally we constrain the complete sketch.
For creating the 3d model from the sketch, we have to Use the Revolve command that can help in converting 2D sketch into 3D Solid model.
Then we Use the Shell command to create the negative space to the SOLID Model. Then we have to save this file.
Now to add new part to the negative space, first we Create a plane by selecting a reference surface and offset distance value from the reference plane that is given.
Next, using the intersect command, we select the plane and shell part, then the internal region part will be created as shown in the sectional view.
Now we have to apply the material property for internal volume, we have to select material from SOLIDWORKS data base & I selected water.
Using mass property command, the volume of the water part will be identified. If you want to see proper value of volume you can use the custom settings.
Now again if you want to change the position of water, we have to click on the plane and we can change the dimension value.
Now we can calculated the difference in mass properties. The difference is nothing but the volume.
