@@isaacbrinklow6971 I don't know how busy it is during the day. I tend to go later on in the evening from 6pm, there's hardly anyone there and still enough daylight.
@@isaacbrinklow6971 At the weekend it's a lot busier than it looks in this video. The blue trail he did right at the end has a lot of families, the big tabletops always have a group at the top, usually someone heading down every 30 seconds or so. Various parts of the forest trail can be busy, and the quarry usually has a couple of groups doing the drop off. That being said I've never felt it was too busy, you can always go where you wanna go without any trouble. If you're a fast rider you may find less experienced riders getting in the way but most people there are friendly and considerate and they'll often rather watch you when they see you're good. Midday on sunny weekend days are busiest, but it's fairly quiet early morning and after about 3pm and if you can go through the week apparently it's dead quiet.
You’ve just put another ride on my radar! I went to Sherwood pines last week and had a great time. Was perfect for a beginner like me. Felt I did want a bit more of a challenge but overall I had a great day out. just editing my video. Looking forward to seeing this series.
Excellent stuff, I live about 10 miles away and only learnt about this place a month ago. Went up to check it out at the weekend without the bike but the video is really helpful too. I will be riding it soon probably blue then red. Did the red at Dalby a few weeks ago and managed to not wreck the bike or myself so looking forward to this one. Cheers 🍻
A great place to learn some skills i did a video where i rode it without a bike lol.. , pity there is no decent downhill. Just don't leave your bike anywhere near the cafe un attended... whoosh... it will be gone.
But perfect for youngsters getting into the sport who don't have transport. Once you have a car then there is many better places to try out not too far from here.
The Marin was great but unfortunately i only had it for a few weeks. Really solid bike for the money, Easy to move around but also really stable with the 29er wheels. As for the Alps next summer..... The week of 25th July- 1st Aug is full but we have 6 places on the 18th- 25th July. It would be awesome to have you, Shoot me an email at jamie.carruthers@yahoo.co.uk
Went down the red trail yesterday. I only have a 24" BMX with one brake but it was still fun if a little fast (could not stop or slow properly haha). Also did the Jump line except it was slick mud and i could not brake or jump (yep I can't actually jump yet haha) Still was lots of fun even if i did think i was gonna die.
If that's all you've got then it will do. Perfect for the pump track and BMX track! It probably wouldn't be to bad on the trails as they are quite smooth.
Mtb Trail Hub I have no idea why this has only just registered. I’ve watched pretty much every video from this year and only now it’s hit me *facepalm*. Looking forward to the Dalby vid, that part of the country is next on my trip list.
woodsmccloud 😂 .... Just putting the Dalby video together now, it’s a banger! 👌 Amazing trail centre! Thanks for the support 👍 let me know if you’re in need of any info about the trails up there, I’ll do what I can to help.....
Leeds is savage if you fall off it will rip your skin of and snap your bones. The council desperately need to address the full place. Over the years the whole place has almost completely washed away.
Yeah it's a very unforgiving surface. A lot of trail centres end up worn down to the bedrock due to the amount of traffic they see. Without a yearly overhaul this will always be the case. All you can do is enjoy it for what it is or speak with the council and set up volunteer digs days?
They are planning a fourth phase apparently where they are going to build a 4x slalom track to the left of the bmx start gates. Hopefully they might do a spruce up then. Trouble is the shop and cafe have no intention of touching it because like you say its council property and council funded. Im looking forward to a trip to bike park wales after watching your videos there. Good work fella
@@russellparker4568 three years on, they haven't even done any maintenance, let alone built anything new. The people that run it care more about the cafe than the trails, and judging by the reviews online, the cafe aint great either anymore.
This is my local park! Only just rode on it today, loved every bit of it.

ruskys adventures Good to hear it 👍 Next stop Leeds then🙌🏼 Thanks
rode there this past january and found the dirt so mindnumbingly slow. Next time i will bring a pair of slick tyres
The dirt is strange there isn't it.......I found it very un-confidence inspiring.
Rock solid base needed to hold up against a lot of traffic.
I love it here
Great fun
Great vid bud, Leeds is a great place for progression on a bike. It’s only about 40 mins away from me
bearded viking mtber Nice ! You’re lucky to have that in your door step.... I would think you could ride it all year round too??

Great place to learn.
Is this good for beginners as I've just started riding bikes for like 3 weeks. Got a Carrera Vengeance 2019 would it be ok for this trail as well?
Yeah it's a great place for beginners. If thats the only bike you have then it will do just fine!! Enjoy
Na mate probs will brake Carreras only meant for average riding not trails or jumps
