Explanation: There will be air present in the tube so when he closes the top for few seconds the ball moves slightly allowing the water to come out and there will be slight gap between the tube and the ball so the water will travel with that gap not allowing the ball to come out and because of buoyancy

For all those saying buoyancy is the reason for the ball floating,you will be partially correct.He first blocks the tube after inverting it to prevent any air from getting sucked in.As he removes is hand, water falls.Since the size of ball is just slightly less than that of the tube,water gets a very narrow path to flow down ,so no air flows in and we have partial vaccum at the top.So we have no air pressure pushing down on the ball and it can rise due to buoyant force.

The ball is less dense than water, hence it is able to climb
up. Miwu had to cup the opening of the tube to prevent the water from coming out so as the water comes out when he releases the hand, the ball is able to rise up

For people who does not understand, me neither, but heres a possible scenario:
When you drop a water bottle for example, it will need air in order to do so, so it gulps up air to push the water down, but for the ping pong ball, it gets pushed up by air, which possibly makes it climb up.

(this case is when the air is forcing the ball up its the gravitation pull) (in some cases) the way the water moves out one way in a tilt depending the speed sometimes length and how much water, since the tube is so thin it has more time to go upwards other then the thicker cup which cannot rely on the sides since it needs to barely fight the spherical object in size it makes it easier to climb up.

My explanation: as the ball is very less dense than water, thus the force of buoyancy i.e (force equal to the weight of water with volume of the ball opposite to gravity) is much stronger than the ball's own weight, so it got pushed up against gravity.
You can do a similar experiment where you put thermacol balls in water horizontally, and when you accelerate your hand sideways along with the bottle, the thermacol balls run towards the direction of your hands acceleration.

gravity equation is F = G * (m1 * m2) / r^2.
now density is p = Mass / volume
now we all know that the less dense will climb up the more dense and seeing that the tube is small the ping pong ball again fight gravity bcoz ping pong ball is light and light = low gravity and bcoz ping pong balls have air inside it and air is less dense then water it floats (not climb) and let's say that the velocity (from the denseness) of the ping pong ball is 0.2 m up and the gravity is 0.1 m down and if we subtract the gravity to the velocity then you know where the ball will go.
