I love the detail regarding the steel watch just dying when it has no intellect left. At that point in the run the player wouldn’t know much about the steel watch and what powers it. It’s a nice touch
Playing as a rock gnome w/sage background and knowledge cleric/rogue gives you expertise in all intelligence proficiencies, decent dex proficiencies and wis proficiencies (knowledge of ages.). Its pretty good playing as a smart character.
I remember the mess the Lorroakan fight was. It was a lot of fun hanging out with the stream while weird stuff kept happening. Also falling asleep to the Ansur fight was kinda nice :D
I recently started a new run, planning to take full advantage of the illithid powers, and I'm pleased to see the Extra Bonus Action staying after turning into a Mindflayer. This is gonna be fun. Though I'm still gonna use weapon attacks with my Thief/Champion.
@@ploepiplayer6150 I have done no testing lmao, but seeing as you can kill withers and mizora by draining their stats, I'd assume the same for Aylin, Thaniel and Yenna. Update us once you've tried it out! :)

I never really cared for the MF powers since class abilities were usually much stronger but I got some newfound respect for them. Still never gonna play as a MF though. I've read enough about their lore to know there are fates worse than death
Actually, in this continuity specifically, any party members who become one, so you/Karlach, actually keep their soul and stays themselves. It's been confirmed by Larian directly, so, if you do what Karlach does, it's actually quite a peaceful life.

It would be fun to see you (role-) playing Mi'chelle, Bardtholomew, Monkfisto and Gunther (?) all together in a "normal" tactician run with companions. It's maybe possible with hirelings. It's possible to change their appearance and name.
i know its too late now, but heres some advice that couldve been useful if i found this series earlier: absorb intellect kills steel watchers gauraunteed if it succeeds, due to atrophy killing them from intelligence loss

ive had dead people stay in turn order before - its even funnier when u have enough strength to pick them up and have them in ur inventory.

At 5:22 what math lets you get 120hp? Or do you mean per day/long rest? 3 uses at 40 hp max means up to 120 hp per day.
Oh I just checked the wiki and it gets progressively stronger each turn, that’s insane. So 360 potential hp per day….
The bath in the house of hope has two taps (water pouring out of them) you can click on that give you a complete long rest. Just for future reference
