As soon as u see any symptoms in pigs first thing u need to do is isolate it and don't let outsiders visit ur farm and dip ur feet in potassium water when ur giving the feeds or visiting ur pig sty, that's the first and foremost thing u should do to prevent ASF from spreading to others.
Most of the villagers are solely dependly on the pigs 🐷and related livestocks for incomes.. Govt.should help and findout best possible way to cure the the diseases in pigs and other animals in nagaland.. Other day the similar cased with cows and mithun with such deadly disease.. 👃
See my suggestion is always build you're pig house far away from you're house and it should be protected from outsider Secondly always kept you're pig house clean and always clean the pig plate before giving food Thirdly and one of the most important thing is that the waste of the pig produced should be far from the pig house as mosquito and housefly are th one spreading the disease And fourthly avoid other to visit you're pig house and cautious should be done to those people who had already lost the pig due to sickness as they might contained the virus.. Even me I am rearing pig but before corona there was African swine flu and so even my neighbour pig died but I always kept my house clean and I have build my pig house so much so that the waste is far from the pig house and so it's been more than 15 years and till date my pig didn't catch with any sickness.. And if the pig caught sickness then try avoiding from crowd and if it's singles then try pouring water on his body and give paracetamol..and always avoid giving veterinary medicine to pig while sick as it's just waste of money try giving human medicine instead as I found it more beneficial for the pig and better..
