Crazy stat. Bowen Byram played more 5v5 minutes in the finals than any other player and outshot Tampa 79-44 during that time. And he’s 20 years old.

Finally a blues fan with class. Not kidding, not a single blues fan has had any class through this whole thing. Instead of being mad at their team for losing and THEIR OWN PLAYER for injuring their goalie, the used Kadri as a scapegoat. Sports a side, that b.s. against Kadri was vile and unacceptable. Will never have respect for 99% of blues fans after that. Luckily, you are in the 1%.

He has paid his debt. Was suspended. Paid fines. Was absolutely assaulted all season. He has changed his ways. Time to move on with this narrative. I will say the same thing after he is no longer an Av next year because we won't pay him what he is going to Garner.

EJ left an entire verse out of "all the small things," while trying to get crowd to sing it. Landeskog stripped randomly and dropped the eff bomb like gospel. Byram came out when they called for EJ. Love the shout out to the crew at Altitude sports network. Those guys are incredible. Obviously I'm biased but I can't watch any broadcast but them without being annoyed.

All the talk about the "no fight Tampa", which may be true to some extent- but how do the boys not talk about the cowardice bitch cheapshotting from Tampa towards the end of the game for not getting calls. The McDonagh crosscheck that almost killed Helm, the Maroon tomahawk chop to Mansen, not to mention Stmakos shooting a puck directly at the ref's skate in anger. Say all you want about their skill but they were a bunch of babies in those final minutes. Great episode but how is there no mention?!

that is pretty normal , when a team does not fight , does not stand up for one another - they are usually pretty dirty especially with stickwork , that is what fighting was about in hockey - taking runs , dirty stick work is what caused a fight in the old days. Then it got stupid with those staged BS -psuedo fights - every team had a guy or two who really had no business in NHL it ruined the way the game has been played .

Kuemper was playing with blurred vision, from internal swelling on optic nerves until the end. We had 2 players who had NO business playing after hand surgeries that normally take 6-8 weeks. Played in 2 weeks. Nichuskin had a completely SEVERED big toe bone and played as good as anyone in the ice.
Also, the Av's were healthier because they didn't take every series to 7 games. 🤷 A good part of lightnings injuries were due to avalanche shots. Am I supposed to feel sorry that the lightning couldn't stay in the offensive zone for more than 10 seconds so they had to step in front of 30 shots a game?! Sorry not sorry. Sucks to suck. Av's weren't as injured because of what the Av's did. Ironically, the lightning were as injured as they were because of what the Av's did.

You guys talk about it around 1:30:00. I think bednar should ask the players in a meeting to come together and take 75c on the $ to stay together. If most of the core agreed we could see something really special over the next 5 years. Mac needs to get paid. And he’s at 10M at 75c, then you’ve got kadri and nichushkin to work out. But we also have some crazy young talent with byram and newhook. These kids could turn into core top 6 for sure. Sign them both to 2-3 year 3m a year deals… idk. Who am I?… haha. Hope you guys can talk to bednar about this one🍻🍻🏆🏆🏆🏆 just looked. Byram is at the end of his entry deal. And newhook doesn’t quite have the exp of byram. So hope we can keep byram for under 5m a year. Kadri is gone unless he’ll take 5 or 6.

Nate is intense but it comes from a good place. When Burky first arrived in Denver. Mikko was holding out in Finland for his new contract. so Burky was out on the first line with Nate and all the reports were Nate was screaming at him at every practice. That’s also where Nate not accepting a pass that isn’t right on his tape started. Well Burky got A LOT better, is loved by his teammates, including Nate, and is about to get his bag just unfortunately probably not in Colorado.

Imagine thinking that too many men when Kadri scored is a controversy lol. Clearly 7 guys on the ice for Tampa as well. Like Biz said, if you're gonna call that, there's gonna be 100 minutes worth of too many men calls a game.

Cooper and Tampa were whining so much. They should have gotten delay penalties

Look at the MacKinnon's goal in game six. Tampa - Cooper waited to review it. The refs should of called Delay of Game on the Lightning coaches. Cry me a river on the Lightning injuries, bunch of whiners.

The calder winner this year will be a better LAL ROUND d man than Makar. He won't match Makar on points but all around he will be better!!! The kid is an absolute force.

So it's some how the Av's fault that they only needed 4 games and the lightning took every series to 7 games?! This whole, "I wish that a "healthy" lightning team would have played the Avalanche," narrative needs to stop. The lightning were, in part, injured because of how lethal the Av's team was. The amount of shots they had to block, do to the ridiculous Av's offense, is what lead to a good majority of injuries. Furthermore, the Av's were beat tf up too. The reason they weren't as beat up is because they destroyed their opposition. Sucks to suck. Win more series in less games, be less beat up. It's a pretty simple equation.

Remember when EJ was supposed to be the future for St Louis then he was a dud? The two dudes we got in return for him one is out of the leage and the other is hopping from team to team now. Im so glad the Blues got their cup even if that first overall pick was semi wasted.
You guys stroking off Kadri after he has one good post season after playing like a looney tune the rest of his career.

yeah Biz? I would like to have seen a healthy colorado go up against Tampa too. Kadri wasn't on a breakaway either Biz he skated through and around 2 defenseman. Are we not going to talk about Tampa and Stamkos jumping on to the ice early to defend in that play where he is literally 50 ft away from the bench defending (before his changer even gets off the ice) to the point where if he had reached he could have deflected the pass going to kadri or with another stride completely picked it off. He's already in position defending through the neutral zone and his guy isnt off yet are you kidding me. Both teams are cheating the change in this case trying to gain an advantage and for Coop to be so adamant about colorados line change infraction while his team is cheating it too is truly absurd. BOTH TEAMS ARE TRYING FOR THE ADVANTAGE IN DEFENDING AND ATTACKING, THIS IS HOCKEY IN A NUTSHELL AS THESE CHANGES HAPPEN ON THE REGULAR. Further to the arguement, there's even two other Tampa guys coming across from colorados bench side where one guy is 9 ft away from the Tampa bench and the other is like 13 ft away and they have the other two guys on their bench jumping on while there 9 and 13 feet away trying to get an advantage defending in the play. The Insistent whining and stopping of play to look at every colorado goal to stem their momentum, and then complain to the officials after every incident and have your players in the refs ear after every whistle (especially when Tampas the one falling apart at the seems not colorado). Throwing hissy fits punctuated by slashes to players who arent looking, cross checks meant to fold people in half, shooting pucks at refs, glove throwing at trainers, even bellmare grabbing mansons stick and holding it and then flopping like hed been shot as colorado goes down to score, pathetic. and yes the reffs were letting most things go both ways, and yet Tampa still has the idiocy to complain about injustice of officiating when colorados power play is ticking at 33% efficiency and Tampas is at like 4% in the series. Colorado would have swept them if the refs called most of the penalties they let go because colorado would have converted on them as they had an all time great post season power play efficiency. clearly the refs actually calling infractions would have helped colorado way more than it would have tampa. PS. please bring the cup to vegas on the boys trip.Carry that beautiful man around and rub that thing in the festering wound that is the vegas golden knights franachise (no offense vegas fans). Also Biz Sakic already made it clear that Nichushkin was top priority to re-sign. He ain't going anywhere. Have fun getting paid Kadri and with the cup in Toronto. Burakovsky 2 cups with 2 teams, not sure if they re-up him or he seeks more in free agency. Arturri Lehkonen is a colorado avalanche for life now book it he and Mikko for life. word on the street is that the Dog has taken a shine to Lehky. I'd re-sign Cogliano seeing how much chemistry he had with O'Connor and helm (helms gone) but making a fourth line of Cogs, OC, and Foudy would make teams want to quit. Get Olausson into the fold and you have your Burky replacement. Get Kaut, Maltsev, Bowers, Foudy, and Meyers in the lineup as they see fit and they have a really solid bottom 6 on the cheap. it's funny because most people think colorado is drained prospect wise but they haven't mortgaged any of their future at forward where they are going to need it most coming into this season. and they still after all the defensive guys they traded away, still have Denver University Stud defenseman Sean Bahrens in the pipeline.
