The reason why the second chord is not anywhere, is because the way your supposed to do a D (you can do whatever you want) is without the little finger and only using fist three fingers. Therefore you wouldn't be able to make your little finger reach the top fret . But since you used your little finger replacing the ring finger, you then have your pointing finger to use as the top fret. It's only because when people start, they are told to do the first three fingers instead of what you do. So technically it's not a chord, but I'm still doing it anyway
