- Trying 3 interesting instant food that can heat up without fire or hot water!
1. Black Truffle Fish Maw Chicken Soup
2. Nasi Lemak Rendang Kerang
3. Yu Xiang Rou Si (Fish Flavored Shredded Pork Rice)
DancingBacons has been a roll lately but they've always been consistent putting out videos and you never know what you're going to get.
Same here 👍
Right!!!
really? I always know exactly what I'm going to get...
Hungry.
@@TheGreatYoRpFiSh Rookie move, I eat when I watch these videos.
@Woozlewuzzleable
remember kids, dont use these self heating thingymajigs on a closed area or your own room!
make sure you have your window open or anything that leads outside if you want to do it in your room/house
Definitely a good tip, some folks might not realize that's why DB does these in more open zones
Agreed. Making hotpot dishes with heating pack in closed area can be dangerous. The temperature surrounding can potentially make hotpot take too much heat and cause an explode due to overheat build it inside
Oof thanks for the tip (yeah I was totally going to do that with the 'these would be good Depression Meals' thought)
Anything, that products supports self heating noodles/ramens,etc shall be done in some space that has open windows/doors or outside. And never be done in confined space.
but he also did use them inside trains?
2:15 Guys, this is fruit called Longan, not a dude who was chopped up.
Rip Logan. He was a good dude
Yes I wanted to say the same thing too
I love the “no commentary” style of RUclips that I’ve seen from Japanese RUclipsrs. All the American RUclipsrs always feel the need to share their life’s story or make it about themselves, so it’s a nice culture shock to see Japanese RUclipsrs focus the video on something other than themselves.
dude's from singapore here but your point still stands my good man
DancingBacons is from Singapore, not Japan. But I agree with your statements.
My bad guys, there’s so many Japan exploration videos on his channel so I kinda just assumed. Looks like Singapore RUclipsrs are just as good.
Did you watch Guga foods? Or Best Ever Food Review Show? Can recommend these american youtubers.
@@Omabatfartsbruh 😅 your name ❤
Thank you for always explaining what each meal is. My husband and I love your videos
Dancing bacon, the only person who takes their own (fake) grass to show off the food etc. :D I like it
Yeah, the patch of artificial grass is a DB classic. Same is true for *the* microwave oven and those dancing-baconized water bottles 🥰
Along with the usual cast: the ants
7:50 the way the soup cube fell from your fingers to the ground 😅 sorry I laughed 😂😂😂😂
5 second rule 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Reminder; Please use these sorts of products in a well ventilated area or outside. "Flameless Ration Heaters" as they are called in MRE's, the little white bag you put water on that heats up, produce Hydrogen gas during the chemical reaction that produces the heat. Without proper ventilation, these gases can catch fire or explode. This can also cause asphyxiation by displacing the oxygen in your lungs if it does not end up igniting first.
Edit: I don't think this applies to the train bentos from Japan.
think this is a bit of an over reaction I mean sure don't use it in your like bathroom or a closet but in your house or apartment you will be fine. I might be a little more wary of Chinese made ones as they have a much higher rate of failure and often a higher temperate but still.
The biggest downside to the twisty bowl is not being able to give heating pack a nice little pat
It's a good boy/girl. It deserves pat 😊
❤
Love your videos! Always look forward to watching ❤ I have noticed your hands have been a little shaky the past few videos. I hope your doing ok. Hugs!
Huh. Weird that the third one includes 2 pouches of water for the meal, but they didn't bother to simply add a third one for the heating pad, to make it entirely self-contained.
You know that is a *very* good point indeed. 🤔
I'm guessing that it's to save money while keeping the food still fully edible in a potential emergency situation where the water might not be safe to drink. The pouches will make sure you have enough clean water for the parts you're actually going to eat, but the unsafe water can still be used to activate the heating pack since it doesn't come into direct contact with the food.
Yeah. They should lose the pouches, tell you how much water you'll need for the whole thing, and add water line marks in the food sections so you know how much to fill.
@@delicate_geniusWhat if someone has no running water available, though?
@@reeses_unicorn buy a bottle of water with the dish. You'd need it anyway even with the pouches.
Love Watching your Videos while I Eat a Meal!!
same
me too
That location is stunningly beautiful!
I love these videos. The food, the places, and even the machines (vending and arcade) are always interesting. I’m a giant fan of this channel.❤
That third meal with the soup and rice dish looks like a homemade meal. Looks delicious.
The fountain rainbow is such a nice sight to see while eating lunch outside! :3
I would love to try these. Thank you for living the dream ❤ and sharing it with us.
Love it! Thank you for sharing this with us, it's very fun and curious.
I love this channel's videos so much !!!!!!!
I love them,I can see when she realy likes the food or not,she is so adorable
Wow you pick a very beautiful place for this video I loved it and all three hot pots were amazing the last one with the soup was way cool I can't believe that little cube made soup.
Watching Bacons is my favorite way to unwind after work! Thank you for being you!!
I haven't found anything that'll soothe my brain the way dancing bacon does. I watch to fall asleep.
Keep the videos coming! love everything you're posting so far!
Also, can you post on your description or a link on what your camera gear, software/apps or setup is? Been curious, thanks!
I love that bottle with the pop top!!!
Always love the videos but today's scenery was amazing!
I always love meats with rice.
Love that scenery! ❤
ALL MEALS WERE GOOD LOOKING BUT FIRST ONE COOKING OPTION WAS BEST OF ALL.❤
I’m still annoyed that these aren’t available in Canada… they look so good!!! 😍
Can't get them in Hawaii either.
Not happy.
Nah, it's fun to watch, but these packaged food from China are highly processed and full of additives, the food safety regulation there is terrible
@@user-sd9sn7wf3olol none of that is true
That rice and soup looked so good..!! I want to try it!!
for trillions of years people have been saying "there will never be a good RUclipsr" but things changed when the peakingbacons channel was created
Peaking? That's for acid trips.
Can you please edit this comment lmao
@@Lahstthe heart will go away if they edit it
@@Lahst I'm not losing my PEAKingbacons heart.
@@Prodawg Blud is desperate for that heart 💀
Ive been patiently waiting for a new video ☺️☺️☺️thank you
7:56 Mmmm, factory water. My favourite 😋
I'm so jealous of your home base. I've been to Singapore once and I can't wait to go back.
Gracias por los videos, me encanta como consigues la atmósfera relajante y de atención y aún así ser informativo.
At first glance I saw "Self *healing* hot pots" and thought, "That's so nice!" 😂 I definitely find your videos to be healing so that is where my mind went!
These self heating products are so clever!
DOUBLE TAP TO HEATING BAG IS CONSTANT 💕❤ INFINITE LOVE TO THIS COUPLE FOR THESE EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE & SATISFYING VIDEOS.💞
That park is so beautiful! ❤❤
The water is so cute with your label on it. Very nice park too.
The steam moved with the water in background. Butiful video ❤
That 3rd hotpot irked me 😂 either supply all the water, or none at all. Could've included more food in place of the inefficient amount of water needed to complete the package 😂
THANK YOU!
I died laughing when the soup cube got grounded.
These self heating hotpots are so cool and convenient! I wish the US had thought of something like this
Absolutely! :) Not only are they great for people who don't really like washing dishes or cooking, but they'd be fantastic for emergencies.
Thank you bacon, perfect timing!
the whole truffle slices in the first soup is impressive
If you think it's real truffle then think again, it's not 😮
Love your content
My Dear Brother,
Your videos are always amazing, always makes me crave for food.
I want to request to make more video on indian packed food 🙏🏻
Thank you.
VERY NICE SOUND WHEN YOU FAST FORWARD... GREAT. SOOTHING. AMAZING
You should sell those water bottles... i would totally buy some merch with dancing bacon logos!
Ah hem. Buying water bottles... Yes.
This is some of the best content on the channel. So many interesting instant foods.
Does anyone buy these meals in the US? Some of them, like the last one, looked really good! Thanks DB for another fun video
I've seen them in Asian markets but never get them because I like watching someone else share the novelty on RUclips. Everyone talking about waste and plastic, I'm with you. I'm pretty sure Dancingbacons isn't going to be the tipping point for climate change.
Me to😂
this is awesome
I like these videos you do of these hot pots we don't see anything like this in New Zealand.
This channel is my entire reason for visiting Japan one day. So I can eat food from vending machines.
I love to see that you're still making these retro-type videos. I wonder if the Beach BBQ Menu has changed. Thanks for the video.
You know you’re gonna hit like on every video as they are always different and fascinating! Right? ❤️
The park where they are at is beautiful wish I could visit some day. I do have a question do you eat all that in one day or is it spread out over a few days I don't mean to be rude but I was just wondering about it. Please answer if you want to. Thankyou for your time.
Where are the otters?
You're near the water in Singapore, where are the otters? 😂 jkjk love your videos! 🥰
I always like beef and chicken with rice.
I can't keep thinking about all the packaging and material WASTE! Convenience has many downsides, but thank you for showing us
One of my favorite aspects of many of your videos is when you warp time as things cook. ^_^ The many foods and items you demonstrate have been very nice for me to watch over the years. Thank you for an excellent video. :)
The jumping soup cube who doesn’t want to be heated 😅
very cool finds!❤
Im thinking it has that element from MRE’s that water makes it create heat. That first one look like way more stable. That last one has a decent portion though
Thanks for sharing and thank you dancingbacons for the upload
So delicious
I love hotpots so much
I heart you mwah!
Do you eat this type of food regularly or just for the videos? Greetings from Veracruz, México
I love these videos. They haven’t done one of these in a while. I’m glad it’s back
That last one seems the most tasty of the three in my opinion
The falling cube 😂
Now i have the perfect video, i can finally eat
I’m really curious where this was filmed! The location is stunning!!!
gardens by the bay in singapore
Looks good on video, wait till you're actually in Singapore, it's super hot and humid, always sweaty and many mosquitoes
@@user-sd9sn7wf3oI was so prepared for that and I walked around with a poncho for all the rain I was told would happen. Nothing. Humid but I'm from Houston, TX. No mosquitoes too. I was in the city half of the time.
Yahoo a new Video from the Bacons.
Although Dancing Bacons is not an ASMR but still it gives comfort
Yes! I love them because they aren't ASMR. I watch in the morning with my coffee for quiet, interesting content.
Logan.. Please get out of my soup.
Lilith using martial art kicking 1 the Stitchpunk is immortal.
These look good. Where can l find them? The third one especially.
one of these days dancing needs to do like a online store with international shipping and just sell these things he buys so we can try them too
Where was this filmed? Such a beautiful spot of water and fountain.
food videos always good when you on the go
Great video as always.
Ever been on ebay or amazon ? ;)
@@deadzio lol. I meant I was wondering if they would work with it or if the original heat pack had damaged the container and rendered it useless. :)
nice view!
These instant meals that can be made quickly is a life saver when you’re traveling around remote places. Thanks for sharing.
Strange that the fish shredded pork rice didn't come with a water pack for the heating pack, but they gave you two packs for the soup and rice.
It's because the food needed specific water quantities to get a good result, especially the rice. Usually for dry instant rice like this the water is provided because it would be tricky to measure the correct amount in an outdoor situation
Rice is my big love ❤
The soup cube 😂 tried to escape!
She tossed it too hard
So cool! I love seeing food from other places😊 Thank you for sharing!
are these sold in sg ?
Please start doing more teppanyaki and in-restaurant videos! ☺️
2:15 who is/was Logan....
been bedridden for a few weeks, thanks for keeping me company! love from tx
Get well, gummy.
My friends and I watch the channel every time a new video is posted. We have done this for years. We grow increasingly concerned that it has been 8 days with no new video. Are you okay? Are you taking a break? We miss you.
I'm concerned as well. Hope all is ok!
Very nice..
Hi bacon! Is there a reason you double tap the heating pad? Is it for fun or part of the instructions? I’ve always seen you tap tap!
It's unnecessary flair, like the HK Slap
I wish we could get self-heating food in 🇨🇦 but we can't. I'm not sure if it's just my province or Canada wide. 😢
My favorite Asian cooking channel!
The lake by my house has the same fountain but there is a giant duck floating in the lake!😂
Nasi Lemak Yum!
