Definitely, it’s true. Also in Japan or other Asian countries, some people who love driving hate this type of cars but once they know how useful it is, they cannot ignore these cars when considering family use. And it is generally very popular.

To be honest my preference (if we’re talking about the full luxury experience) would have been for this to have had the full hybrid version with the 2.5L Atkinson Cycle 4 cylinder. Quiet, refined, fuel efficient, and more than capable of the reliability needed in a car of this size. Nevertheless, the drivetrain configuration of the vehicle in this video is still an adequate option if you have a lower budget in mind.
