Really wish they would open this bar back up. It's currently caught up in some legal BS apparently that's keeping the current owner from re-opening. Wish they'd have a local judge look over their paperwork and give 'em a hand.
CinderBaby Wow I had no idea the owner was still keeping that option on the table, that would be great! I feel your frustration about the legal stuff. You'd think the city would back up small business owners in situations like this.
@@Modern_Nostalgia Not sure who the current owner is or if it's the same guy, but the reason it closed in the late 90s (like 1998) was that the owner was busted for laundering food stamps at the bar. Not sure what ever happened with his case and I can't recall his last name to try to look it up. He was a kind fella. It's a damn shame that laundering food stamps could destroy your life and business, but laundering large amounts of money to avoid paying taxes is fine and dandy.
an existential moment.
looks nice vintage, makes me wanna grab there a beer and I would even not mind it being an american beer
He was married to my great-grandmother Pearl osley

@@FayeVert He was very kind, you’re right about that.
@@laylaperez8061 do you remember what his last name was? I know his first name was Coy.
@@FayeVert yes, his first name was Coy but we called him Butch. I’m trying to remember his last name.
0:54 from that angle it looks like it's out of a old western town.
