My significant other and I watched the special editions of the trilogy last week. Awesome experience. However, it's been a while since I watched the behind-the-scenes features, but the people who created the sound effects for the Ring's voice were phenom. Truly a terrifying Ring of Power.
If the ring of power could turn a hobbit into the Golem, Frodo would have been lost forever. For 60 years it's been in Frodo's family. The closest to Mordor the more dangerous the Rings influence is. For 500 years the ring with with Golem in the Misty Mountains until Frodo's uncle Bilbo stole the ring from him. I think I what if given that troll Golem one small push into the firepit.
@Aaron Bae yes. But sadly it seems most people haven't the patience to read an epic book like that these days. I use book singular because Tolkien regarded all three volumes as the one novel.
