Running paternoster. My favourite shore casting rig. I use grip wire sinkers nowadays. Expensive to buy and fiddly to make but you rarely lose anything.
Hands down the most informative Aussie fishing channel I've watched. Not sure if you've been but got any tips for fishing in the Hawkesbury River? Ive been trying to catch big tailor and jewfish from a boat.
Thanks for your kind words. I haven't fished the Hawkesbury mate but we use 5 inch stick baits for big Tailor around SE QLD. Cast the sick baits hard up against rock walls on the last 2 hours of a run in tide late arvo. It works up here it might work in southern NSW. Good luck mate.
Have you tried slider rigs? Ive had great success with them in the past live baiting the Brissy River for threadys from the shore. They are good in high current/snaggy water if you have sacrificial sinker like old cast net weights.

You are very welcome buddy. I hope they help or go to your local tackle shop and ask about slider rigs as Potatoes commented about. Good luck mate.
Thanks brother, useful information and of ya sick of losing rigs in snags, just drill small holes through big bolts or use spark plugs $$$$
All good mate and thanks for the tips👍

No I haven't mate but I have heard they are a very easy way to send live baits out. I remember sell lots of them back in the day.
👍🏼
