Cara (first cage) could also consider purchasing a pet gate if there are two walls nearby to install the gate on so that her dog cannot get near the guinea pig cage, if there is not a door to the room. In addition to your recommendations.
6:43 thank you so much for reacting to my boys cage!! i recently got them a litter box for their hay to contain all the mess they make and me and the pigs love it!! i looked up the tunnel ingredients and i believe it’s just hay stuck to a cardboard tube with some sort of fruit used as a binding!!
@@autumngrace. The UK, thankfully, does have a lot of things in place to ensure animal safety so most of the products in pet stores aren't too bad. But yeah, none use anything like glue or honey, usually it's things like beetroot which is safe for piggies.
18:12 that cage is below the minimum (40” x 20” x 20”) for hamsters and there’s not enough bedding. Just if anyone is curious. I assume it’s a hamster in there on top.
Hi! That’s my cage and yes it is a hamster. Her cage has been upgraded since I took this picture and there wasn’t much bedding at the time because I didn’t have another bag but usually there was a lot more.
Great cage review video, some very creative and pretty cages in the video, motivates me to get more creative with my piggies apartments. Fun, fun, fun (and helpful).
13:24 thank you for reacting to my cage! i will defiantly get a bigger litter box but unfortunately i did try using a loft and they wouldn’t use it because they’re older girls. but otherwise, i will be doing my best to keep my cage as open as possible so they aren’t cornering each other! thank you so much :)
Hey Autumn!! My two female guinea pigs are currently in a 2(width) by 4(length) the grids are 14 inches,im not an adult yet,and my room isnt huge, but ive given them a hay box, hides, and i dont have fleece so I out a towl underneath a soft thinner blanket. I technically rescued them as before I got them they were in very poor condition and only ate lettuce(the kind they aren't supposed to eat). Id love to get your opinion on what more I need to do,and can you link where you buy your hides and fleece?❤❤❤ love your vids!!♡ they are so encouraging to me!♡♡♡❤ I'd also like to know if I could get a third female with this size cage or if I need to expand it♡♡♡♡♡❤
hey question for anyone, i just got two boys and they have this huge cage i made them, however they themselves are GINORMOUS. like not fat just big. like rabbit big. they poop so much and i’m constantly cleaning which is fine but it STINKS. any suggestions for the smell?
The first cage makes no sense to me. Why put the aquarium inside of it? The ammonia is just too much just don’t let your dog in the same room as the guinea pigs.
Any ideal to make them no guinea pig of you? I have mine for almost 3 months, and they're so scared of me every movement of me scared them. One of the girl kind of take treat from me, but only sometimes. Other girl never take treat from me. So most of the time I only leave the treat or vitamin c there, they will come out and eat it.
it takes time, don’t worry! just pick them up often, hand feed, spend lots of time with them (even just in the same room!). and as I said before, let time do its thing. I’ve had one of my pigs for 2 years and she’s still extremely shy and hates cuddles as that’s just her personality.

Thank you for reviewing my cage! I’ve gotten them some new toys and upgraded the litter box because they both couldn’t comfortably fit.

lol my waffles used to be HUGE before he got older and lost some weight. Do you have a litterbox under the hay? That can help. Also air purifiers!
@ i have a litter box for them, i was worried about air purifiers bc im not sure what’s dangerous for them or not
Air purifiers are completely safe! As long as they don’t add any scent to the air, which most don’t. Just look for one with a HEPA filter
Very nice Guinea Pig cages😊💟
14:26 the pig room cage Matt thingy :0
