The wheels in your first tiny test were one above the floor, which is why it worked so well while the next few tests didn't. Also, try defending the sensor pillars with warehouse keys so if a boss does come, they won't get destroyed.
I know it's kind of an older video, but some thoughts. Perhaps just some experimenting in creative mode instead of revisiting survival. 1. Two layers of wheels (expensive in survival) interleaved, with the second layer in the gaps where the blocks are. 2. A wheel pen: Once the first wheels are activated, a second row a bit further back lift up out of the floor, and the bots are flung back and forth until they go poof. 3. Swept sensor array: Set sensors on bearings, controlled by controllers, on a loop. Have the sensors swing back and forth, with overlapping ranges, from the overhang. Zero chance of totebots, haybots, farmbots (maybe launches might?) damaging the sensors. 4. Put the wheels on pistons, and have them spin AND thrust upwards. This last one is kinda out there, it might not even actually work fast enough to matter.

I have an idea for your cow pen: make the outer walls of tier 3 metal (or boss' keys if you are brave enough) so that they are indestructible, and the inner walls of wood trunks so that they do not disappear.
Could also automate defences more by setting up a sweeping saw/drill arm. One button press and it pops out and runs along the over hang above bouncy castle and hits the ragdalls
build a base elevated off of the ground with pilars from metal 3 covered with keycards and then your base wont be destroyed. and make the floor from the poles from the craftbot room so you can shoot directly down
you might want to put similar wheel traps, but vertical, to keep the occasional bot from getting under the base, use them to kick them towards the middle

6:02 "when they get flung into the air" an actual object dropped from nowhere on the right side
I have an idea for your cow pen: make the outer walls of tier 3 metal (or boss' keys if you are brave enough) so that they are indestructible, and the inner walls of wood trunks so that they do not disappear.
It only needs to be t2 concrete, it’s easy to make and the bots can’t break it.
Real name for episode. Destroying my vehicles

Scrapman: what is he doing?
Me: dancing that's what
13:00 (they ask you are music)3seconds later (close to epic music)
Could also automate defences more by setting up a sweeping saw/drill arm. One button press and it pops out and runs along the over hang above bouncy castle and hits the ragdalls
Next ep please contraptions cuz I really liked it
looks like i have an idea for my base defenses now. thanks
build a base elevated off of the ground with pilars from metal 3 covered with keycards and then your base wont be destroyed. and make the floor from the poles from the craftbot room so you can shoot directly down
Thanks for daily uploads 👍
You can sprint across a 4 block gap so im sure they can, too. Try leaving a 2 block gap after the tire and that could help.
you might want to put similar wheel traps, but vertical, to keep the occasional bot from getting under the base, use them to kick them towards the middle
A MAYBE SMART WAY TO HAVE LOW LEVEL RAIDS WITH HIGH LEVEL CROPS : PUT DOWN THE AMOUNT OF HIGH LEVEL PLANTS BUT INSTEAD WITH POTATOES, WAIT FOR IT TO BE DECTECTED, THEN SQUASH THE POTATOES AND REPLACE THEM WITH THE HIGH LEVEL CROPS.
(ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE A-LOT OF POTATO SEEDS)
warning: may be big brain
That machine is insane
Multiplayer Monday Challenge: Revisit the NO WHEELS race, but combine it with FRANKIN-CAR in teams of two. One builds the front, one builds the back.
26:11 the greenie is vibin
Tire wall should throw the bots onto the jump pad thing. That would be epic.
21:34 Tip If you are running on the wheels it will punch on to the Side off the Ramp
