- This glitch was found on r/ScrapMechanic and it is amazing! I wonder if you can tune it a bit...
So today, I'll have another look at the amazing things that get posted on r/ScrapMechanic every day. There are a bunch of awesome creations such as cars or suspensions. Of course, there are also a bunch of Scrap Mechanic memes. However, my highlight is definitely this glitch. I wonder what we can use it for...

The trouble with automated trader delivery is keeping both in range to be active.
I did have an automated farm across the street form the packing station and an automated car that harvested and packed the produce.
Oh, the turret is most likely just a free-floating bearing with a suspension glitch to turn, isn't it?
i thought it used the mod that has a logic gate that makes the bearings follow the camra
@@orange8175 Nah. I mean, it's possible, but to me it looks like it was the old vanilla method that everyone used for tank turrets. It's also probably still the most used method of building tank turrets.
With the new strict follow cam, you can make it look camera controlled by hiding the ui and pressing buttons. As in, you can make it completely vanilla, it's just an illusion.
@@orange8175 The new follow camera tilts, so you could just hide the UI and use buttons to make it Look as if it's cam controlled
@@KaneyoriHK Yeah. You can also just make it a wasd controlled, and have the vehicle driven with buttons, or have an AI/friend drive for you. 🤣
Actually, from testing i have found that left click and right click in my game has button 1 and button 2 functionality... so yes this is in fact the budget turret seat.
yeah idkwhen they added it, I think it came in this update, which is really cool. adds more functionality to controller and means more buttons can be used!
Bout the bearing, i use them for multiple things. If you need a stronger bearing it's really good.
16:19 If they go with the hologram lift idea to bring builds from your lift to survival like the new tutorial. Make a mod that makes the vacuums pumps auto place down the correct blocks in the hologram to auto build whatever is on your lift. Ofcourse with it actually pulling and needing the correct blocks in a accessible chest.

: make an option / other mod in which 2 or more players or teamsspawn at a certain spot ( like 2 spacecrafts or get to use two mechanic staions ) and have to compete for a certain task like destroying a team or players treasury in the huge survival world ...

7:29 well real forklifts bend backwards to like that to load crates. not to that extent but they still do.
a space mod would be the coolest ever, like imagine, a normal survival playtrough, but in the endgame, you can buikld space rockets and visit like the moon, and there are more special recources ther and shit
maybe expand the solar system to like more planets and shit.
building custom spaceships/spacestations and so, damn would that be cool
i dont think its possible within the current game, as you can only have one world in a save game, but you could make it so the skybox changes and gravity becomes zero after a certain height (infact it has been done before, but its old and broken) and have rocks or something valuable up there

But maybe we can make it as a challenge mode thing or something, so you get to the moon, and then you just get a new challenge world or something. Like the normal progressing system
12 threads could be on a single core btw, would have to actually check the load per core or maybe run it on linux with some tools
True, but I also only have 12 threads on my cpu.
@@Dr-Pixel Are you saying your cpu has 6 cores with up to 12 threads/vcores (2 per core). I am not sure how those specs work exactly.. but i do know that in python i can start a bunch of threads lets say 100, but unless you do multiprocessing, python only has access to 1 core, so all 100 would run on 1 core (and be incredibly slow because probably 98 of those are constantly starved for cpu cycles).
pretty interesting to know how scrap mechanic does this.
currently haven't found a way to check this on windows.
Edit: python is a special case and seems that in windows threads normally do NOT run on a specific core unless you put a lot of extra efford in it. so i am guessing 99% sure ScrapMechanic is multi core and you were right
@@toosafelol You can check the core work load in task manager. When I play SM one core isn't getting maxed.
To make a fully automated contraption factory, you'd need some sort of advanced controller that you can copy a script into to add connections and adjust settings.

They made it so you can't weld respawn bags 😭😭
That's fine though, they also wrecked raids, so no need to protect anything anymore`. Which is good because they also completely destroyed the beds use, whenever you cross to certain tiles your respawnpoint is reset to the crashed ship.

3:20 that's been in the game before survival. also if you lower you physics calculation you can use it to create toggle able suspension glitches. i covered it in one of my old vids over 2 years ago.
I'm shocked it's not that well known though. Seems really interesting.

I had just finished tuning the Survival bearing sag and was about to post a build tutorial and upload it to the workshop, but the latest patch reduced bearing sag and now I have to retune it.
Once I get it settled again I'll get the videos made/published
i have a good survival from the raft mod but is there any way to import it into the custom worlds
8:08 if memory serves, F-22s don't have the ability to carry air to ground weaponry, if they did put them on external pylons like this it would make the stealth characteristics of the plane obsolete, negating the need to use the F-22 and you might as well just use an F-15E or F-16
Edit: I realise this comes off pretty negative, it's still pretty cool, it looks good and seems to fly pretty good too, just wanted to point this out
Would be interested to see welding/assembly mod, possibly some style of Infinifactory or just blueprint splitting/configuration
fun fact! i work at home depot so i see forklifts all the time. real life forklifts tilt like the one in the video! i believe its to prevent the payload from sliding forwards off the forks during movement
16:30 if you make the rotation match the vacuum pump, relative to the face its being placed on then yes? (I mean parts like the T pipe would be difficult but "Technically" it should work)
You should add a mod so vacuum pumps can pickup blocks.
the vacuum pump mod sounds cool
maybe you could build a car factory with it too!
For a mod idea a version of vacuum tubes for the refinery bot/resource crates and maybe a small version of the crates that you could just line around your vehicle and pump to storage/refinery bot in the back.

But before I tell you what I'm thankful for, I want to assure you that I am not racist (or at least not consciously) and don’t want to be.
All of that started because of the loneliness of quarantine and separation from other peoples, since then every time I hear, see, read about Germany I uncontrollably start to frick out. That is BIIIG problem, because as I am unfortunately from poland every time when someone watches news I need to be cheerful, same with yt (from some reason WWII is very popular). Sadly that problem is not only about hearing or seeing, but also touching. Moving from city to city by bus is almost impossible (I'm studying in school 60km away from my home). But week ago I meet your channel and it's GREAT... then I saw 'about' section...

Can you use the sticky wheels you made as gears? Since they would stick together and could transfer the motion via friction, the rotation could probably work.

Suggestion: add space, just make it so that the gravity becomes zero past a certain height, and make it so craftbots are faster or some items can only be crafted in space to make it worth it to do anything in space

I have the game, I have the custom world. Game + world = every single added part are broken (so is the portal spud gun)
make sure you are on the right version. Verify game files.

The 2x2 bearing kind of works, but they are way weaker in survival so it works pretty well in survival but in creative they are way too strong
People should add like New dimensions to scrap mechanic like a space dimension that are separate from The mane world.

DPP your Raft Mechanic has a bug (idk if someone coveredyet but i will say it) when i logged out before lunch i was half on hunger and thirst then after lunch i logged in again and i had full hunger and thirst
