I LOVE your Japan videos, especially the Tokyo ones because I’m thinking about going there one day, also I’m learning Japanese so I could know what things say. PLEASE do more videos of Japan! Keep it up, love your videos!
My husband and I went to Japan this summer and it’s so fun to see the similarities and differences in our trips! I think we went to the same mipig cafe and it was so fun☺️ I also loved how safe I felt!
Hi Maya! I love watching these travel vlogs! You're inspiring me to jump out of my comfort zone and travel (I've never travelled before, but really want to explore the world and its culture)! Any tips on how to overcome the language barrier? For example, when you were at the self-bagging area (0:16), how did you know what to do?? Or when you're exploring around town, how did you learn to navigate your way (using maps, transit, etc.)? I'd love to learn from you! Thank you! 🙂
Awww great question! I was honestly so nervous and hoped that the green button was correct LOL since it only gave me two options!! I believe at the bottom I could’ve changed the language, but I was too busy filming to notice ☠️. But if I reaaaaaally don’t know what something says, I use Papago to take a photo and it’ll translate the text for me!
That's so fun!!! Thank you for sharing these experiences and foodssss with us!!!!!! And I'm so thankful that you were kept safe the entire time!!!!! 💗💗💗💗💗💗
Thank you Maya for the video, i am going to Japan (Tokyo, Hoikaido, Osaka, Kyoto) and Seoul, thank you for sharing the video so, i have an idea where i must to visit ❤👍🙏
Maya I am so so so excited to watch this vlog because I was eagerly waiting for this vlog and My Birthday Is Coming Soon and I will support you till end🥺🥺💗💗
That is a really good price for such a nice hotel room. I know there are EXPENSIVE rooms in Tokyo, but in general, when I was there, and researching for my next trip, hotel prices are pretty reasonable (compared to Sydney, Melbourne, London, New York, most of the US).
loved this vlog!! I'm planning a solo trip to tokyo in august and I'm so nervous because it's my first ever trip by myself! do you have any tips or things I should know before I go?
9:46, Oh you fly Japan airlines, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to Los Angeles on economy seat configuration of 2-4-2 and it's the only airline that doesn't have 9 seats per row, which is interesting. Nice that you sleep in the plane and hope your sleep is good. I prefer the 2-3-2 or 2-4-2 configuration in economy class, depending on the aircraft type.
Hello, I've never been to Japan and thinking about going solo later this year, but my only question is, does a lot of people speak English there? lol. Thats literally the only thing I would be worried about is the language barrier to communicate while ordering food and everywhere I go haha. Thanks in advance! I hope this comment can be seen.

Are you still doing Japan videos next year?
Cafe reissue seems like the perfect cafe to go to when you're missing your little fluff on a trip 🖤

I’m SOOO excited for my Japan trip coming up this next upcoming year.😊

Me too husband
Love this thank you for sharing!! I plan to visit Tokyo too on my own. Any particular reason you stayed in Ginza instead of Tokyo?
Thank you for watching!! I stayed in Ginza because it’s closer to the airport 🥲
how is the weather? is ti cold , after your vlog I get exited to go
It wasn’t too cold in November in Tokyo! Beautiful weather :)
It's not a temple but a Shinto shrine. @3:55 Meiji Jingu in Yoyogi Park.
A shinto shrine!!***

Yes! The 2 seats on the sides was so interesting to see compared to 3 seats. No one really likes middle seats anyway 🥲
I see. Unfortunately, same for me when the flight is full.
So cool
I hope you had such an awesome trip that was restful and rejuvenating even though you had to work remotely.😅

Hii!! In Tokyo there are definitely English speakers. In Hokkaido there were a lot less, but I just point and pay for what I need to pay for :)
Do you speak Japanese at all? I always try to learn some words before traveling but is Japan easy to navigate if you only know English?
I don’t speak any Japanese and was still able to navigate! Other than saying “excuse me” or “yes” or “no” and “toilet” :3
Thank you for your video
