Excellent video sir..i just repaired my door lock, there was a problem to refiit the knob after tightening the disc...i was confident that I am not going to break the lock.. just gave a little tap on the rear knob and it is ok...

I thing you inserted in the wrong way and pull key go down.
You take out the knob one again and check the key (which used to lock the knob) and reinsert

Sir, first of all thanks a lot for like my video.
You cannot replace cylindrical lock with any other lock because of its design. A round hole has to be made in the door to fit this lock.
Or the cutting of your door is done according to the cylindrical lock.
My personal suggestion is you can change cylin. lock with cylin lock only. Price starts at 450/-
