this is such a beautiful interview- johnny flynn you are such an incandescent person and songwriter and artist and please will you come to brisbane so that the sunshine state can bask in all your creative glory?
I love listening to people who don't pretend to be anything else that they actually are beacuse honesty and innocence is the truth. And this is the only ineresting thing in this world. Thank you for this great interview with this wonderful, genuine man.
Detectorists/ Murmuration/ Been Listening/ The Ghost of O'Donohue/ Detectorists (again) plus Shirley Collins' Hares on the Mountains plus river noises, some train noises (almost the right key), rain, kids in distance, and lots of birdsong. And crunchy feet. As they say - nice.
Loved this, and the bird chorus. Felt heartbroken for him when he talked about bullying at school. He said himself, he is very sensitive and this shows through in his beautiful songs. 🥰🥰
I listened to this while walking up the river Lee, having just moved here myself. Johnny's music haunts and uplifts like no other. Thank you for this great conversation
And here was I thinking you were rather a flippant and carefree musician/actor Flynny ..But you are far from..... Very Moving podcast thank you Folk on Foot Judy Frosini

@Johnny Flynn it's not nice to pose as sb else. It may actually be a crime.. 😬
His latest album with Robert Macfarlane is just awesome.

I love this guy. Iam so happy to hear him perform the ghost of O'Donahue.
The most peaceful hour I've had in a very long time. So lovely. Save the wetlands in your countries.
