Been a life long fan but there was a lot of over looked info for this for '23 season. A lot of stars aligned to make it this far but most wasnt cuz of talent. First, it was a super soft schedule cuz of the complete lack of WR/TE's and poor record in '22. Second was all the 3rd string starting QB's they played, 5. Carr, Stafford, Kirk, Burrow and Jones were hurt playing GB. We lost to Danny Devito, and beat KC and Chargers cuz of their WR's dropping passes. The biggest reality is had Kirk not gotten hurt MN would have made playoffs, not GB. Vikings has a throw away season cuz of it. There is film out now of this team, MLF schemes, and Love's lack of deep accuracy coupled with a lot tougher schedule is going to surprise a lot of just casual fan's thinking this is a SB capable team. We still havent addressed the kicker, or stopping the run up the middle and now Aaron Jones will most likely beat GB annually knowing that + he will be playing for spite. Bears are really trending up and not going to be an auto win, MN added a franchise QB starting next year and Lions still are going to be 1st in North for awhile while GB is strapped with Loves giant contract now. Young and talented team, YES. But far too many variable pointed the other direction this year. Regardless, going to a fun year with NFC North now the most competitive.
