Wow! What a blessing this episode was for me. I am a mom of 3 grown wonderful men now and have lived with so many regrets about how I parented. I am very close to all of my sons but still I have been holding on to so much guilt and shame for so many "mistakes" I made when they were growing up. I received and felt the love extended out to Heather in prayer as well. Thank you! I honestly didn't know how much I needed to hear the words spoken in this episode. What a blessing. What an on time word.

I watched this yesterday and took SO much from it. First of all I FELT THAT PRAYER that was prayed over me. My name is not Heather, but I'm a Heather and WOWWWW it was powerful!
My oldest just turned 7 and she was having some BIG big feelings yesterday and I tried doing some of the things you all suggested and it helped us SOOOO much. I feel like we had a breakthrough and gah it was so good!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

I have been created a very sensitive being. I feel things more deeply than I would like to. I remember a conversation with my Dad. He wasn't yelling or speaking with a harsh voice, but he said more than once not to be so sensitive. To learn not to be so sensitive. He meant well. I see that now, but for many years, it had a harmful effect on me. I took that to mean not to be who I was created to be. He didn't try to calm me. I took it as not being acceptable. Yet I knew my parents loved me.

After the ticket story, also giving your child the chance to correct and understand the behaviour. My son is only 3 now but it just blows my mind when I lean back and trust him, how many times he actually flourishes. Of course there are many times impulses take over but those little “risks” to just observe can be massively beneficial. When you see a toddler make a good decision or stop themselves from doing something unacceptable that is the good mom stuff I’m addicted to lol. The work is worth it and they are gods children so let’s see what gods toddler is capable of. Also taking a pause, my toddler was in a pack and play with his baby sister and started throwing out all her toys. I took a pause and he was just trying to make more room so he could lay next to her. ❤

This video made me realise I've taken on too much as a parent and as a result am over stimulated and can't show up for my son the way he deserves. I've been feeling like a terrible Mum trying to balance it all and being a constant fight or flight state.

I am a heather and I just started crying 😪🥺 thank you so much for what you do! Thank you thank you. And all the praise and glory to God 🙏🏻 I thank him for leading me here. Very informative and powerful to know that we make mistakes and we can become more aware and repair 😭🥺♥️

I would have calmly led her to the mirror and asked what was on her face.
My youngest daughter secretly pulled a heavy drawer filled with pots and pans out then partially pulled the drawer above then the top drawer so she could climb up onto the kitchen counter to open the cupboard to get the Flintstone chewable vitamins. She figured out how to uncap the bottle and ate the rest of the tablets. When I saw the colored lips, I knew what she had done. I called an agency and was warned that it would cause diarrhea and that I needed to give her ipecac. It was so stressful and scary to keep her in the bathroom till she was done with the consequences.

I love Candace and no disrespect for her or her cohosts, but these parenting episodes are just making me feel bad for all the things I did “wrong” as a parent, that I can’t change now since my children are all grown and flown.

I love your RUclips videos. They really help. Right now i am in a not so good season. I have 5 kids. The first one is 19 and lives with my parents. The others are 9,8,7 and5. I have 4 girls and one boy. The boy is the most difficult one. It really helps that not all families are perfect. I feel overwhelmed, frustrated, angry, and sad.
